That strikes me as very odd, because Shuffle my music should clean your listening queue. If you can provide some screenshots, maybe it will be easier to tell what is causing the problem.
Also, Automated recommendations is a feature of the listening queue and should be tied to playlists or albums, BUT you might want to check it is turned OFF. I turned it off, so if I listen to a playlist or an album the music stops at the end of them, BUT when shuffling my music and getting close to the last few songs it still adds more to the listening queue from my favourite tracks, playlists and albums.
Have been using the Shuffle my music feature for many months myself and have never had these kinds of issues... or that is what I thought until two weeks ago.
It is so bad and repetitive now. Since the issue occurs with both the Android App on my phone and the Web Browser on my notebook, I think it evidently has to do with some recent Deezer changes algorithm-wise.
I asked Deezer Support and the customer care agent said they were "...currently working on enhancing the Shuffle feature...". I had previously shared my experience here, even though it sounded quite different from yours.

Hi Marcormark, thank you for your kind response. I have taken a screen recording on my phone of me pressing Shuffle My Music with the result of a string of seemingly random modern music, followed by my pressing the Shuffle My Music button again several times, with it simply resuming playback of the same music, not even giving me a new selection of modern music to not want to listen to. Then I select an album of my Favourites to play, which is followed by me pressing Shuffle My Music one last hopeful time, with some new modern music now playing. I have uploaded this screen recording here.
Regarding Automated Recommendations, I have this turned off on my Chromebook (but it turns on again every time I click on Shuffle My Music), but I cannot seem to find the option anywhere on Android, for some reason. Any advice on this would be appreciated, though as I have the setting turned off on my Chromebook and it still fails to play my own Favourites, I don't believe this will be the answer.
I have read your linked post, and as you say, although we are not experiencing the exact same trouble, I note the central problem of Shuffle being the root cause of our woes, along with Deezer's staff being very cagey about what they're actually doing to fix our concerns. I think today I will be looking into a way to contact Deezer staff directly to seek recompense for my subscription fee if they cannot rectify the issue.
Thanks again for your reply.
Your video is definitely a proof and I have no explanation for that.
As far as I know, Automated Recommendations can only be turned on or off from the web or desktop versions, but I agree that the Shuffle My Music issue should be due to something else. If I were you I would contact Deezer Support without further ado.
Thank you, Marcormark. Indeed, it is a mystery, and the only change I personally made that I can think of that might have triggered this is the change from Monthly to Annual plans. As for how that would be the cause, though, is anyone's guess. Obviously it is not a wide-scale issue. Thank you for the link; I have contacted Deezer Support and am awaiting further assistance.
All the best.
