Scrobble Last.fm from Deezer not working

Yes, I feel you.

I would actually also like a common standard for scrobbles. I have seen some FOSS solutions covering last.fm like stats and scrobble mechanics, but at this point I don’t see any issues with last.fm, and I like their recommendation engine :D

I also just filed a support ticket and already took the wind out of their sails by stating that the issue is not on the side of last.fm and also the timestamps is wrong, showing that the problem is most likely a buggy implementation of the scrobbling in Deezer.

We are working with the Last.fm team to have this issue resolved.

It’s currently on its way and catching up on old scrobbles.

It should be all back to normal soon, I’ll keep you posted.

Deezer submitted my remaining old scrobbles about 20 hours ago, and currently they are showing the last scrobbled track when the next track starts. This is the normal behaviour for the internal Deezer scrobbling option, as “Scrobbling now” is not showing in the recent tracks list on the Last.fm user profile.👍

i am happy that an lastfm integration is present on deezer, since i’ve wanted to move from spotify and this feature was gonna miss me. the problem now is that there is no “scrobbling now” feature which is kinda disappointing, since i’m relying on this feature on some external apps. is there any plans to implement it??

i sent an email about it to the support and they replied with “we only scrobble at the end of music” which is… sad

Im still unable to link my Deezer account to LstFM as i am a member of a family subscription. Nothing works. Why THE Deezer doesnt just make it easier for everyone? Frustating.

I might have replied to a similar question about being a Family or Duo member in this long thread already or in another one. You may be able to connect to Last.fm in your Deezer sharing preferences as a free user before joining your Deezer Family or Duo account. The Last.fm connection page will not be visible afterwards then, but scrobbling still works.

So if you are already a Family member, you would have to leave it in order to become a free user again, connect to Last.fm and then join the Family again by being invited by the Family admin.
