Scrobble Last.fm from Deezer not working

It is possible to link your Deezer account to your Scrobble Last FM account from a computer/laptop using this link:

https://www.deezer.com/account/share

You should see the Scrobble as the option on the right.

    As far as I remember, Deezer’s internal scrobbling option wasn’t working correctly around that time and was simply lagging several hours with submitting the scrobbles to your Last.fm account, so probably it was coincidence that it started working for you again after reinstalling. This lagging occurs from time to time, and the only thing you can do in this case is wait.

    i am happy that an lastfm integration is present on deezer, since i’ve wanted to move from spotify and this feature was gonna miss me. the problem now is that there is no “scrobbling now” feature which is kinda disappointing, since i’m relying on this feature on some external apps. is there any plans to implement it??

     

    i sent an email about it to the support and they replied with “we only scrobble at the end of music” which is… sad

    To see “Scrobbling now” in your recent tracks list on your Last.fm profile you have to use external scrobbling apps for Deezer, e.g. the Web Scrobbler browser extension with the Deezer web player or an Android scrobbling app with the Deezer Android app. They can provide the info about the currently playing track, but the internal Deezer scrobbling option does not.

    If you are on Discord, the Music Presence app can also show your current track in your Discord status, but this will not show it on your Last.fm user profile.

      i also just started a deezer account but honestly this issue with lastfm is annoying, i will cancel at the end of my free trial period if im not happy with this

        Which issue do you refer to? For example the internal scrobbling option of Deezer is currently lagging for about 24 hours, so you will only see your scrobbles on Last.fm the next day, but at least with correct timestamps. As mentioned there are external scrobbling apps to avoid this and other known issues, the latest is Pano Scrobbler for Windows which works well with the Deezer desktop app.

        The Discord Music Presence app for desktop already has a scrobbling feature in the closed beta version 2.3.5, the public release 2.4.0 is expected at the end of March. It will scrobble all supported media players and streaming sites including Deezer.
