Hello,

A few days ago I noticed that there are too many authorized devices on my account including an unknown phone, so I de-authorized all of them and changed my password, ever since doing that, I’m being bombarded with emails like someone’s trying to log in with an older password.

How can I stop that bombardment of emails?

Thank you.

Hey @Ice_machinE, we can’t stop it on our side.

But I would suggest you change the password of your mailbox too!

Sorry about that.

Hey @Ice_machinE

In order for these email notifications to stop, the email address linked to the deezer account would have to be changed.

That’s a shame.

Changing the password to the email inbox, won’t change the address though, the emails will continue.

They can’t access my inboc because I have 2fa enabled.

LOL 😅

So you don't believe that? OK.

Someone has the email address you used to register with deezer. And initially your password too.

You have now changed the password. Nevertheless, this someone still has your email address and is now trying to log in. Of course, this is no longer possible since the password has been changed.

You can now only prevent or block these emails by connecting a different email address to your deezer account.

This means that the other person has neither an email address nor a password.

Alternatively, you must create a rule in your mail program and move these deezer mails regarding unsuccessful login attempts to a subfolder or the recycle bin.

I didn’t say “I don’t believe that”
I’m just saying, that I’m not going to change my email address just because some idiot put it as their life goal to use my deezer.
Support says that they got this sorted and I’ve changed my password yet again to something much more complicated.

So far, so good.

@Ice_machinE

Oh. Please excuse me. Then I misunderstood you. 😯
