After several months of hardwork and dedication we're thrilled to announce our new initiative! Deezer has launched a new website to show users how we want to make streaming music fairer for everyone by implementing a User-Centric Payment System, UCPS. We are aiming to launch our new payment mode early next year to give the power to subscribers to decide where their money goes. With UCPS, your monthly payments go to the artists you listen to, rather than the current market share-based system. Access our simulator on our special UCPS website - www.deezer.com/ucps. You’ll be able to discover your top five artists and exactly how much of your Deezer subscription is paid out to the acts you love. Did you think that Instagram stories was made only to show your beautiful self? No, no, no! It's time to share with your followers what you have been listening to on Deezer and get ready to become an influencer with your taste of music! Make sure your Deezer app is updated with the latest version, find the right track, tap on the three dots next to the song and then on share to Instagram Stories: Now you know how it works, feel free to share your favorite tracks at the moment.... ... and your guilty pleasures.
Is it too loud? Is it now too low? T he loudness of each song may vary from one to the next, but we can now get it sorted with our new volume normalization! This feature will be turned on by default and some users may think that it's now too low, but feel free to turn it off by following the procedures below: Favorites tab > settings > turn on/off the volume normalisation toggle. Deezer has revamped queue lists to offer you an even better listening experience! Now, all songs lined up on your player are Cloud based, which means whatever you’re playing will be accessible across other devices. So, if you’re playing your favorite playlist or podcast on your phone, you can pick up from where you left off when you last opened your PC or Mac. Currently, this feature is available only for paid subscribers. However, we’re planning to add more devices such as CarPlay, smart watches, Xbox and others in the near future. Thanks again for all your votes and suggestions. Now that our queue list is Cloud based, we have some more exciting enhancements coming soon! Listen to your favorite tracks on your phone… … and pick up from where you left on your computer!
Humidity is rising for the Deezer community! M eet Mila Jam, the American singer who has left her umbrella at home to bring you this brand new remake of the 80s sensation "It's Raining Men". Introducing… "It's Raining Them"! "Cool, bold, strong and keen / Proud and loud and here and seen.” The track features gender-neutral lyrics and the legendary Paul Shaffer, who is the original songwriter of "It’s Raining Men", has also given his full support for this all-inclusive version. In addition to being a singer-songwriter, Mila Jam is an actress, dancer, YouTube sensation and LGBTQ+ activist. During the All Live Matters protests in 2020, Mila went viral for writing "STOP KILLING US" on her body. "It’s Raining Them" is available exclusively on Deezer. We will donate 100% of our revenue portion from the track for the first year to the charity Gendered Intelligence to support their work with LGBTQ+ issues. If you're an unsigned artist and would like to get your music on Deezer? We would love to have your music on Deezer!! In order to have your songs on our platform, you need to sign-up with one of the digital music distribuitors. You can see all about it here!
Have you heard that new song by that American singer still not very well known that sings about " I drive alone past your street... " and is number one in several countries right now? What about that song from the '80s that we can't remember the title, but it goes something like this: " every now and then I get a little bit lonely... "? If you don't know who sang them, no worries, " turn around, bright eyes ", and see that we're now able to search a song by its lyrics on Deezer! If you don't remember the artist or the name of the track you're looking for, you can find the songs by searching for the lyrics on deezer.com . Type at least four words in the search and there you go! (Actually, this reminded me of that Johnny Cash song "there you go, you're gone again..." , but I can't remember the title of this track!) Note that this feature will only work for tracks which have lyrics available - tracks without lyrics may not be searchable. Also, this option isn't available on kids profiles.
