That's right, you can't play your own playlist through Alexa yet. We will update our community as soon as we have any more news about it. Thanks
The deezer website is not clear - it appears you may be able to play public playlists but does not make it clear you cannot play your own playlists.

Hi there Nicomel,

At the moment we're unable to play user-created playlists with Alexa. But this has already been passed to our developers and it's a problem which will get an update soon 😉
when do the Service come, that Alexa Van Play User defined Playlists?

Hi there, unfortunately we do not have a specific date, but it will come very very soon 😉
Can someone define very very soon.

I hope it Will come soon. I bought An Alexa because Deezer cannot be linked with Google home yet. But still I cannot use it like I want. We are premium, so we want to use it like we want ! No ?

Hi @deewit

You're right, and that's why we're working on it 😉
Are there any updates on this? I really love using Deezer but the third party integration is pretty bad and will definitely influence my decision in the long run.

Hi @Mick2605

Not yet but we're actively working on improving our Alexa experience. We also depend on Amazon, though. We'll keep this topic updated.
Is there a way to play my personal playlists from Deezer via Alexa? I know it can play Deezer but not found a way to play specifics

Hey @lee beddow

Please see more info above.
Hi,

Is it now possible to listen to our playlist with Alexa ?

Hi,
do you have an idea of how long it will take ?
A week ? A month ? 6 month ?

To be honest, I am about to switch to amazon Music...

thanks
Any news to when we can play our own playlists through alexa. I really like deezer but it's really limited to what you can do through alexa. I am considering trialling Spotify as they can offer this service

Hi there @Leanne Coy @tompi9

Sorry you feel that way. We've asked for an update from our devs. Hopefully I can bring more news soon. Thank you for your patience.
Hi Rudi - I appreciate your responses but this is taking a crazily long time to implement. This option has been enabled with Google Home for ages (I’ve been using it for over 1 year). That said, I’d like to move to Alexa for other functionality reasons but no user-defined playlist support has been stopping me. The only solution I have is to change to Spotify for example.

How can it be that your Dev team at Deezer cannot Prioritise (or even provide a target release date) for such an important (and basic) functionality request???
I would like to know if you gonna have that feature soon. It is very limited dont play our playlist like another streaming services does.

Wow - 2 months and no reply !!!  Deezer doesn’t seem to care about Amazon Alexa users who want to listen to our Playlists!!

Hi there @Splatt88 @Alberto.deez

Sorry about the wait. We're still working on getting this to work the right way. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Just signed up for a free trial and I am stunned that not only does this basic functionality not work, but you’ve been trying to implement it for a year or more. Straight back to Spotify for me once my free trail ends.

Oh, and your voice control is absolute garbage. A good 75% of the time it plays a random song instead of what you asked for, or says it can’t find the song (even though it’s in the catalogue). Very poor.

Hi there @dpg50000

Appreciate your honest feedback. Our skill has recently been improved. I personally tested an Echo and the results have improved a lot - but there is still room for development. Thank you.

This is absolutely shocking.  2 years and it still doesn't work.  It's not even a hard thing to integrate.  I for 1 won't be renewing.  Shame as I enjoy the app and the music on offer.

Hi @Tinbum13

Thank you for your honest feedback. We apologise this hasn't worked as expected. But we're still working on it, and our resources should increase in due course. Thank you for your understanding.
