Can you please add ‘Release Date’ to the ‘sort by’/’order by’ dropdown list for playlist, so I can listen to a playlist in the order (or reverse order) of when the songs were released (newest to oldest or oldest to newest)?

Please make it possible to go to the album from which the song that is now playing is. Sometimes I’ll hear a nice song, but finding an album can be horribly hard, especially when a common word is used. Organize albums and artists in a hierarchy that makes sense. Example given: band Felt (1979-1989). Browsing their discography, I can hardly find any of their albums because there is another artist by the same name. Is is possible to make it so each artist have their own unique identifier and their albums be a subset of that particular unique “folder”? That’d be great. EQ for desktop. I have a flat fee on home internet, but not on my mobile. I want to listen to high quality stuff on my home speakers in a room, not in the midst of the traffic on the go. I see this request is not new so, please, we’d appreciate it.

Build in Equalizer for Android/All platformsNot for now

Hi all,I was getting idea ( nothing new ) about Deezer build in Equalizer. Which will provide minimum 8 to 16 frequency adjustments ( no need for "fancy" virtualizers or special bass boost). Since I am using Media player with older version of Android 7.1. (even though is new player) non of third-party Equalizers work for Deezer, even if it shows in app. I am sure that will be a lots of people who would appreciate it.Let me know what you think or if there is something in making. That would be awesome news.

remember last position in every album/playlist playedIn discussion

I often switch between albums/playlists without finishing listening to all tracks.Each time i switch, playing starts from the beginning and i need to remember which song i listened to last int that spcrific playlist/album.Please add ability to rember what was the last song played (with shuffle on/off - if this is ot possible then only with shuffle off) (not talking about remembering last song played beteen diffrent devices - synchronising ) Thanks

Remember last played track (and even it's position) in a playlist/albumIn discussion

It would be really practical if Deezer could remember the last played track of a playlist/album. And additionaly it's position in the time progressbar. Because when I visit a playlist/album after a while I can't remember which track I played as last track, before leaving the playlist/album.Deezer should somehow implement a feature that would show the last played track, so the user knows where he can pick up again, and continue listening in that playlist/track.

Hey let's play a song and have simultaneous listening with my friend and if the lyrics of the song appear on the screen and we express our feelings with it, it would be a new trend I believe it would be better to chat with my friend and listen to the song together. I hope you liked the idea

Manage auto-sleep on Fire TVNot for now

Using Deezer on Fire TV. I would like to have music playing, but have the screen not distracting. (Ideal would be that the Deezer app sleeps to black but continues to play. It's annoying having lyrics on screen and other flashing items while listening to music in the background!) Separately, the app stops playing any music if no button on the Fire TV remote is pressed for about 15 minutes. This does NOT happen using Spotify app on Fire TV - so it's not a feature of Amazon's fire TV plug in devices (This is NOT a TV issue as this sleep behaviour is caused by your app, not the Fire TV, nor the TV it's plugged into) So: can you create a better approach to 'sleep' on the Deezer app for Fire TV sticks? If you think this already exists, can you tell me where to find it in your app's settings.

When you play a random of all your library the app doesnt allow to add songs on the queue. Would be good to have this option i think. Thanks.

hallo allemaal bijdeze even een vraag/idee over de deezer ondersteuning wat betreft rekordbox komt dit er uberhaupt aan ik heb een dj set gekocht waarbij rekordbox zit de nieuwste versie heb een abbonement  bij deezer en zou  graag willen weten of deze functie er snel aan zit te komen ben wel een thuis  dj dus kwa licentie muziekrechten zit het wel goed

[Desktop app] Window title should display current song and artistNot for now

Hi, it would be nice if the Windows desktop app title bar showed the currently playing song and artist. The same applies to the taskbar (unless its “Combine taskbar buttons” option is set to “Always, hide labels”). Ideally, the format should be configurable with some string like “Deezer %A - %s” with placeholders %A = artist, %s = song title, %a = album title, %y = year, %% = literal percent, etc. Thanks!

Problems:When the volume settings are set to ~ 20%, the sound is very loud, which greatly interferes.Solution:Make sure that the volume settings also affect the volume of the advertisement playback.

I sometimes discover new tracks and old tracks that have influenced my life more than I could dare to dream and for these special tracks I’d love to be able to “super like” so they always show up in track mixes of tracks in the same genre or even the flow… algorithm boost if you will. Improve normalization for album playbackNot for now

Currently, normalization seems to adjust the volume of every track by itself, regardless of where it’s playing from. This works for the most part, but it has the consequence of messing with the dynamics of full albums. It’s especially jarring in albums with gapless transitions between tracks, where Deezer’s normalization can cause sudden volume changes where none was intended, but it affects all albums to some extent.To remedy this, Deezer should calculate a separate “album loudness” to be used when a user begins playback from an album. That way, the track-to-track relative volume differences/dynamic range that the artist intended to be heard can be preserved, while the current behavior can remain for other playback sources (playlists, favorites, etc.) This is also in keeping with established standards. The EBU R 128 S2 (Loudness in Streaming) recommends that:“especially when individual tracks are streamed as separate elements (for example, musicservices) additional metadata may be used to ensure faithful reproduction of the artisticallyintended relationship between programmes. These can indicate, for example, the loudesttrack of a music album, the loudest movement of a classical symphony or the loudness ofspeech (“album normalisation”, “anchor-based normalisation”).“

Deezer uploaded MP3's to be able to cast to Google Home DevicesIn discussion

I’ve had a transition from Google Play Music (which worked perfectly for all I wanted to do) to Youtube Music through the forced migration and had one day of Spotify before settling on Deezer. So far. So good. However, a couple of newbie suggestions if I may….Please sort the larger playlist shuffling issue on Google Home Devices. It shuffles the first 20 or so songs and it frustrates no end & Yes, I’m using the ‘workaround’ of casting from a local device but the reality is I shouldn’t have to. I have uploaded mp3’s in the playlist and I want to listen to them which leads onto…..Just enable the casting issue for uploaded mp3’s already. It clearly does not have to do with legal restrictions as I was able to do the same on both Google Play Music and Youtube. I am settling into Deezer but these two niggles are a pain. Yes there is a workaround but when I am paying you £180 a year, I don’t want a ‘workaround’, I want it to work. Furthermore, I can play the uploaded mp3s via a voice command so again, cannot fathom how that can be possible as the source and endpoint are exactly the same. As I said, I’m settling into Deezer and on the whole it is working for me. However, I certainly don’t think like most who have been forced away from Google Music, the comparative issues above are helping. Sort these out and I can only foresee a really tidy package that would deliver what we want as users.

With Qobuz and Tidal flac already there, it would be nice to have Deezer HIFI there as well. The Tidal jazz and classical selection is weak and the Qobuz selection is very good but not yet going in the USA. Deezer HIFI has a very good catalogue and sounds great and is my current choice. Audirvana+ is my daily use music app and I would prefer to use one app for all.

Merge sequential tracks into a single trackNot for now

It would be interesting to have an option to choose a track and make something like a group to put sequential tracks into a single one starting with the selected one.Like the Another Brick in The Wall of Pink Floyd.. The 5 first tracks of the album can be joint into one. It can apear on the playlist only with the first track name (In The Flesh?), but when it is choosen to play, the other 4 musics will be played in sequence.

Support for Linn DS/DSM streaming clients on DeezerIn discussion

The streaming clients of Linn (linn.co.uk) were amongst the first devices to provide best sonic experiences in UPNP and streaming via the internet - they have a huge reputation in the HiFi and HighEnd community.Currently, their line of DS and DSM streaming clients support Spotify, Qobuz, Roon and Tidal. As a premium subscriber of Deezer, I would consider changing to Deezer HiFi, if a proper integration with Linn is possible - just like Qobuz for example, where I can browse their streaming catalog from within the device's app (up to 192/24) and - most important - directly add to the playlist. Once the playlist is populated via the native Linn App, I do not need any active computer, smartphone or tablet, the Linn clients play the music directly from the connected servers.Of course, there is the workaround to use Airplay from my iPhone's Deezer app. This does not make sense for two reasons:a.) the iPhone/iPad/Computer must stay activeb.) this degrades the sound quality, since the streaming client is synchronised to the iPhone’s clock rather than synchronising the stream to Linn’s extremely high stable internal clock, which is used, when streaming from Qobuz or my UPNP-servers.So, do you see any chance of natively supporting the streaming clients of LINN?

Samsung TV Deezer app optimizationReplied by Deezer

Hey there, I am using the Deezer app for quite a while now on my Samsung TV UE49NU8070 but yet there hasn't been an update.. I can play everything well but the problem is I can't play a playlist in the order I want! Only starting from the first added song. Thats pretty annoying if you have over 100+ songs in a playlist. You simply can't change a thing or scroll quickly through the songs. Secondly if you play something, you can't go further in a song or rewind. Only the option exists to put on the next one or go back. Anyone else faces this issues? I hope there is coming an update soon for these mentioned problems.

Grouping AlbumsIn discussion

Please up-vote if you are a music enthusiast, who has a large albums collection that is hard to be navigated. Many of us would love to group albums according to genres, sub-genres or moods .. etc. It might be difficult to add the genre tag (also not so beneficial), but I guess it's relatively easy to give us the ability to make groups specified by the user.
