Feature Request: Equalizer on iOS desktopNew

I love my premium Deezer account, however, for paying for the service, I would absolutely expect an equalizer option on the desktop iOS app. Instead, I’ve had to install an additional app and my RAM suffers…Je vous prie, s’il vous plaît, de rajouter cette fonctionnalité - I prefer (and promote) Deezer thanks to its superior algorithm, the fact that the company is French, and the fact that they actually pay their taxes!  Merci,Alesa

volume interfaceNew

Currently, volume interface on the desktop app is bad because we have to hover our mouse over the sound icone, wait for the volume slider to appear, then only can we change the volume.And we have to do that every single time. It’s annoying at best.What I would suggest is to put the volume slider directly visible on the app next to a mute button (there’s a lot of free space there) and if you think it’s still needed, when the size of the app is reduced to a point where it’s not possible to show the slider properly anymore then dynamically revert back to the hover-mouse-over version.

I think Deezer should create an interface that adapts to the music and offer free months in the coming months, like the three or two months before Christmas, and why not add an AUTOMATIC MIX mode. Allows seamless transitions between tracks in certain playlists.

I just switched from Spotify and I need a release radar or for the "new releases for you" to actually just be artists I'm following or have liked. Also I'd like to be able to pin a few playlists to the top like you can in Spotify.

Hi there, maybe this idea is not new. But is there a way to Add a Equalizer option button if there is a song playing. So that you can instand change the sound settings of the playing song? My son (8 years) came up with the idea and i thought… he… that’s a nice idea ;) Can somebody give us some input…Thx and best regards,P & E

Very odd Top Tracks algorithms (system/list)New

When I explore for a new bands, I always want to hear the best (the most popular) tracks first. Not even when I explore, but just listen to some old band with their old good songs (not just new)Instead of this, Deezer offers me to listen for “top tracks” which is mostly looks like “most popular within deezer users for the last <specific period of time>”. I pretty sure the songs from that list are not the best and not most popular for the all the time. Last week or month? last year? Who knows! Deezer even doesn’t offer me to choose the period!Last.fm offers to choose the periods - this is really useful.Spotify just shows the most popular for all the time.Deezer offers…. something odd.Just one sample from my recent exploration. Deep Forest band from France (like Deezer). Just compare the results and see that it’s something wrong with Deezer’s Top Tracks algorithms.Last.fm:Spotify:Deezer: Last.fm and Spotify shows very close results, Deezer shows just last release songs: I’m pretty sure these are not top tracks for 30 years of Deep forest history ))) and not the most popular for 15+ years of  Deezer history :)

More control over what notifications you getNew

I’m sure the majority of Deezer users use the service by adding individual tracks to playlists or whatever, but as someone who pretty much exclusively listens to albums I feel like the notifications bell is almost entirely useless - I might get 20 notifications for singles in a row but not be notified when a band I like releases a new album. My idea being able to set a few simple parameters to make sure the notifications tab notifies me about the things I actually want to hear about!

Can the web and Iphone app kindly set the shuffle to on or at least give us an option to do so in the settings?New

Hi and thanks for the nice app and forum.I know there might be other posts regarding this issue, I still created a new one so that maybe my experience helps or bring the matter to the attention again.I excluded Android since imho, the experience on it is “not as good as it is on IPhone and web version”. I’ve been using Spotify for ~3-4 years and also have been using Youtube Music for ~6 months and now have been trying Deezer for a few months. One thing that has been bothering me is that everytime I want to play a list, I have to exclusively open the app an press the shuffle button. This has gone to the extend that I sometimes have to temporarily park the car so that I can open the app and press shuffle since I don’t have android auto, however I didn’t have this particular problem with Spotify and Youtube Music. Or at least I wish there was an option for it. Although the big button in each play list is a shuffle button, it seems it hasn’t been consistent for me at least. While the design of the app and notification bar on IPhone is really visually pleasing, it doesn’t help that there is no shuffle button on the notification bar unlike Spotify. I’m really trying to get along with Deezer but there are clearly somethings that are trying to make it hard.😅 But it’s fine, small tiny steps. Also I’m newbie, please don’t be harsh on me if I’ve done something wrong. I tried to look at the settings thoroughly before posting this.

Notify when a title becomes unavailableNew

helloit is quite annoyi,ng to discover after a while that a title in my very big playlist has become unvailable. I would appreciate to be notified when that happens.feature:everytime a title becomes unavailable in one of all the user’s playlists, you could send a warning to that user.

10k limits increase for personal playlists on DeezerNot for now

Now that Deezer has announced that the favorites playlist 2k limit cap is being raised to 10'000 tracks, I don't understand why user created playlists aren't included in this effort.Why am I not allowed to add up to 10'000 tracks for into my own playlists? Deezer please get your censored together, as this makes no sense. I'm grateful that it's now possible to add 10'000 tracks as favorites, but I want same approach for my own playlists. They are still capped at 2k tracks, as you can see in the following statement, ONLY favorites playlist has been raised from 2k to 10k tracks. https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115004522449-Content-limits

A smart and dynamic playlist to liven up your partiesNew

It would be interesting to enhance the user experience around playlists by introducing advanced playback customization, especially for social and festive settings. Here are the main features envisioned: 1. Organization by sub-categories:Allow users to structure their playlists with themed song groups (by music genre, mood, decade, etc.), displayed as collapsible sections. This would make navigation smoother and let users quickly switch from one music style to another during a party — for example, easily moving from rock to pop or electro without having to change playlists.  2. Control over transitions and song duration:Provide settings to manage transitions between tracks (crossfades, hard cuts, etc.) and set a maximum playtime per track. This would be especially useful at parties, where you might not want to play each song in full to keep the energy flowing.  3. AI-powered smart mixing:Integrate AI that can analyze the songs in a playlist to: suggest smooth and coherent sequencing; adjust transitions based on energy levels or tempo; create an automatic “DJ set” style mix, making it easy for anyone to host a party with a seamless music flow, as if they had a professional DJ at home.

I have to scroll through dozens of my albums to find the ones I’ve downloaded (noted in subtext under the album name) - this is a safety hazard. Please add this page to Android Auto. Thanks.

SongCatcher History LibraryPlease consider adding a history feature that saves previously identified songs. This would allow users to revisit and explore tracks they've discovered using SongCatcher, unless they choose to clear the history. Apps like Shazam and SoundHound offer this, and it's an incredibly valuable addition for music discovery and collection.2. Improved SongCatcher SpeedCurrently, SongCatcher can take up to a minute to identify a song, even under ideal conditions. Optimizing its speed and responsiveness would greatly enhance the user experience and make it more competitive with similar tools.3. Saved Concerts SectionIt would be amazing to see a “Saved Concerts” feature in Deezer, similar to Shazam. This feature could allow users to:Discover upcoming concerts by artists they like Browse by artist, date, location, or genre Save concerts to their profile Set reminders for upcoming shows Receive notifications before concerts or exclusive content from artists (e.g., setlists, tour photos, wallpapers) Purchase tickets via in-app links4. Offline Search Mode for SongCatcherPlease consider adding offline support. When users activate SongCatcher but lose connection (e.g., in a dead zone), the app could record the audio snippet and identify the song once connectivity is restored—similar to Shazam and SoundHound. Buongiorno avrei un idea da suggerire per la sicurezza di deezer sul proprio account! perchè dopo tanti anni ancora non avete inserito la sicurezza in 2 fattori, anche google authenticator, sarebbe cosa giusta al giorno oggi non si è tranquilli, qualcuno può sempre riuscire ad entrare e prendere in possesso il proprio account. Spero al più presto introdurrete questa sicurezza per impedire malintenzionati a rubare gli account degli altri. Grazie e speriamo che un giorno accada.

Deezer Favorites Tab: Audit & Redesign Proposal --- Part I: Core UX/UI Issues 1. Disorganized Hierarchy The Favorites tab lacks a clear structure. Music content—tracks, albums, playlists, artists—and podcasts are treated equally, with no prioritization. Users expect a smooth, personalized experience. Instead, they face a cluttered interface that complicates navigation. 2. Fragmented Sub-Tabs Sub-tabs like Tracks, Playlists, Albums, and Artists work separately. There is no connection, no learning based on user behavior, and no easy access to frequently used content. The layout makes users search for material that should be readily available. 3. Mixed Media Types Podcasts and music are grouped together, even though they cater to different user needs. This mix creates obstacles and disrupts the enjoyment of both music and podcasts. 4. Hidden Downloads Deezer’s key feature—free downloads—is buried in secondary menus. This option should be a main part of the Favorites experience, not an afterthought. 5. Static User Experience There is no flexibility or customization. The interface does not change based on how users engage, and users cannot control the layout or what content gets priority. --- Part II: Strategic Redesign Proposal --- New Structure: Three Main Tabs 1. Downloads This tab focuses solely on downloaded content, dividing it into music and podcasts. It emphasizes offline access, which is crucial to Deezer’s value. A dedicated Downloads tab appears first under Favorites A toggle allows users to switch between Music and Podcasts Sort options include: Recently Downloaded, Most Played, File Size It uses large, visual cards with content-type indicators --- 2. Music This section replaces the current disorganized layout with structured, scrollable modules based on user behavior. It features modular design with sections: Most Listened Suggested Repeats Playlists Albums Artists Recently Played Each module scrolls horizontally to maintain vertical flow Users can pin or rearrange modules according to their preferences --- 3. Podcasts This tab is dedicated entirely to podcasts, designed for easy listening and seamless resuming. Sections include: Continue Listening Subscribed Shows Downloaded Episodes Recommended It has visual indicators for tracking progress The layout resembles those of streaming services --- Optional Enhancements Smart reordering of modules based on listening habits Pinned sections for user-prioritized content A universal search bar accessible from all tabs Swipe navigation between Downloads, Music, and Podcasts --- Projected Outcomes Clearer access to important content Improved engagement through personalized experiences Higher retention by reducing interface friction Better alignment with user expectations and Deezer’s strengths

Hey deezer, I know change is inevatable with apps but could I beleive putting the three dots option button in the top right is possably the worst place for it as its a button i use regularly. Its not in an easy to use spot especially when im using my phone with one hand, I dont have a large phone too. Just somthing to consider.Cheers

Last listened widget on iOSNew

Hello everyone!Well, as the title indicates, when adding a Deezer Widget on iOS, the small squares that appear are: Flow, Songcatcher, and Favorite Playlists, but the option "What are you listening to now?" or "Last listened to" doesn't appear (as other services do). I think it would be a good option if we had that choice.What do you think?

Song-dragging issue in playlistsNew

I have playlists containing 2000 songs. Therefore, I sort them in alphabetical order by song title.Newly added songs always end up at the bottom. Previously, I could easily drag them upwards in the smartphone app.But recently, it has become much more difficult and very time-consuming.Currently, I can only drag a song up a few titles at a time. Then I have to scroll the bar on the right before I can move the song a little further. I have to repeat this multiple times in order to place the song where I want it.With playlists of 2k songs, it takes a lot of extra time!I didn't face any problem with this before, until a couple of weeks ago.Please fix this issue! Because it's not very user-friendly anymore and frustrating.
