Sonos Integration: Missing Features

Dear Deezer Team,

As a long-time user, I greatly appreciate your HiFi quality and Artist-Centric Payment System – both set you apart from the competition. As a Sonos user, however, I find that the integration has been incomplete for years. Essential features that Spotify offers are missing: Song Radio (select a song and play similar tracks), Flow Moods (Workout, Chill, Focus, Party), podcasts via the Sonos app, or the ability to stream directly from the Deezer app to Sonos.

The first three features already exist in your app and would only need to be enabled for the Sonos API – the technical effort should be manageable. Alternatively, you could develop Deezer Connect to stream directly from the Deezer app to Sonos, which would solve all problems at once.

If implemented, you would finally be a full-fledged Spotify alternative for Sonos users with the added advantage of HiFi quality, making you attractive to another large target audience who currently prefer other streaming services due to the missing features. Given that Deezer is continuously losing paying customers, this should be a concern.
