I came from Spotify that already has this feature for a long time, and I miss it.
I like to control the music of the pc using my cell phone, and it would be great if Deezer had this option.
thanks.

Hello, I'm the user of your website deezer.com. I like your service and I'm already waiting for the beta to end on the computer. One of your competitors has a very cool, and most importantly convenient function is the synchronization of music with the application on the computer and with the application of the phone and vice versa. This means that you can listen to music on one device, and switch to another with the same song right from the same minute and more, you can control what is playing and what volume on the computer with the application on the phone and vice versa. What do you think? Please add this function in the future!

Hey William, I moved your suggestion to this existing one, make sure you vote for it 😉

I hope that it will soon be possible to control other devices linked to your account with only one 🙂
Hi @abovebeyond @Farao apologies for my late reply and thank you for your input. I have moved your topic to this one as it is the same idea ;)
Hopefully we can see this being implemented soon 😉

Definitely vote for a remote!!! This is where Spotify has a one up on Deezer.
Would very much like to see this feature be implemented. I think this would be a very big feature that a lot of people will be using. Please urge the developers to start working on it ASAP! 🙂
Yes, this is a must have!
When playing music on Spotify, if I am listening to music on device X, I can control the music playing on device X using any device logged in to my Spotify account (as well as change the device that the audio is playing on using the "available devices" option). This is especially useful when playing music on my Alexa - there is no interface on Alexa to queue songs or interact in any way without interrupting playback.
The fact that I cannot control music playing on Alexa using the Deezer app on my phone/laptop is a real drawback and is probably the only thing holding me back from making the jump across from Spotify to Deezer!

I use the the Deezer desktop app to play HiFI (FLAC) on a good sound card on my PC. I see Deezer's competitive advantage over Spotfy as precisely this ability to play lossless music but only if I can control it without having to come up to the PC to change tracks, playlists and so on.
Please add this remote control ability . The best way might be to expose the well established UPnP AV protocol in your desktop app. That will allow you and third party developers to produce customized controllers and free your developers from being the bottleneck in satisfying your users.

I have the exact same use case as above so +1!
Yep, I would also like to see this. There's a third party app for the web player on Chrome, but i'm not using the web player, and has quite a few issues, isn't a very smooth experience (occasional glitches ruins the experience).
Drag the four buttons from top to bottom, as before, add a function,
similar to Connect in Spotify, add a button to the notification like or
add to the library.

How is this flagged as solved when in fact the answer was very clearly "that's not possible"??!

Dear Deezer team,
I really love the Deezer, but it would make me happy to see a back and forth/across the devices remote feature, like in the picture below. Laptop to phone, phone to laptop etc.
Is there any chance that you will improve you app with this feature in the near future?
Thank you

As a rather complex workaround for now (and please, this is not a solution!) one can use "Chrome Remote Desktop" which allows remote control of everything on a PC. While one can in principle do everything with this, it is in fact only useful for simple controls such as play and pause.
To use this: install the "Chrome Remote Desktop" app on your phone and then Google "Access another computer with Chrome Remote Desktop" for instructions to install it on your chosen PC.

+1 for this.
I today switched from Spotify to Deezer - especially because of the more modern design and "Flow". But I'm very disappointed that there is nothing such as Spotify Connect. When I want to listen to something special on Amazon Echo and Alexa can't understand it, I want to use the Deezer App and cast it to my Echo like it was possible with Spotify. I'm thinking about switching back to Spotify - even during my free trial.
For all who definitely want to use the TV for listening to deezer it would be a great feature. No doubt. I used the TV for a time too. But I think it is a better solution when you use a chromecast-audio: Good audio quality, less power consumption and controlls via app on smartphone/tablet.- Just as a suggesttion!
Just signed up for a Deezer trial. Unfortunately, I'm going to sign up with Spotify again, because Deezer offers no functionality similar to "Spotify Connect".
This is especially annoying on voice-activated devices like the Amazon Echo: Alex either doesn't understand me properly, I've misremembered the title of a song or I just don't know what a song is actually called.
In cases like that I can just fire up the Spotify mobile app, find the proper title and hand the audio playback off the the Amazon Echo.

+1. This feature is greatly needed, especially for those of us that use a pc/Mac solely for entertainment purposes.
With Deezer HiFi available ONLY on the PC App the remote control feature is a MUST.
Very few people will have high end HiFi speakers situated right next to their desktop computers. Most people will have them at a distance with a dedicated listening spot away from the computer, specially those listening to good floor standing audiophile speakers.
It is imperative to find a way for the Deezer PC app to be controlled via a phone or a tablet, otherwise the HiFi service just becomes a pain to use. You need to get up from your listening space to your computer just to change a song or search for something.
Spotify seems to do this very well - please help and add this to Deezer too! A lot of demand is there...
