What is REALLY needed - to support player output using DLNA/UPNP. Spotify has it, and it's really rocks! both for android & windows & mac... will you support that?

    Hi all,

    I found another software for streaming on upnp receiver, it’s another opensource software it’s called LocalAudioBroadcast, it’s easy and work fine, with this I can stream Deezer on my Harman Kardon AVR265.. TRY IT..

    Hi there @kvaster

    Thank you for reaching out to us. We've had an update about this subject this week - it's being developed and more time is needed. We should have more updates in the next couple of months. Thank you for your understanding.

    May be couple of years ? :)

    The situation is very bad for me. All my receivers ‘supports’ chromecast, but it simply doesn’t work - they are always ‘stuck’ on ‘starting streaming’. My experiance with chomecast is very bad - don’t want to use this technology anymore anywhere. Most others streaming companies supports DLNA. After this answer I’m going to test other music services - don’t want to wait forever.

    I understand it @kvaster we've recognised the need for this and you surely don't have to wait forever. But it's coming. Like I've mentioned here in the community, some of the mechanisms for it have already been added to our mobile apps in the past few releases. We're waiting for an update from the team at the moment - so please bear with us a bit longer. Thank you for your support.

    I'm afraid we people won't live to see it because we don't live that long!!! Deezer developers are amateurs and work very very slowly :(

    Hello @Sonda, sorry that you feel that way. I acknowledge that many users are expecting this feature from Deezer, I hope we will be able to deliver it in the future to be up with your expectations. I’m going to forward this feedback to our teams.

    Have a nice day :slight_smile:

    Hi, am recovering this thread as I would like to use this app. Is someone using it today? I cannot find the Chrome extension any more so it looks to me this app is no longer operational?

    @Deezer when are you going to allow users to remote control your app or to use UPNP/DLNA likeSpotify/Qobuz /Tidal??

    Hi @ariel.levin.733 thank you for contacting us. Sorry, Deemote is a third party app and we not support it. Unfortunately, we do not offer DLNA/UPNP support or remote control in the near future but we do understand your frustration around that.

    Therefore, we keep on forwarding feedback and user voices to the relevant teams and hope this can change.

    Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

    Sorry Deezer…

    • Apps rolled-out with bugs (track playing error; front/back buttons unusable) What QA do you do?;
    • No information on what new updates and features are in each App release?!;
    • No gapless track play;
    • No UPNP for the last 2 years. Neither an explanation about when or why it took long. Now your Community Manager states the above!

    From me, sadly, from today on bye-bye Deezer

    Hey @BDias

    We appreciate your honest feedback, thanks for the message.

    Our UPnP support had to be pushed back, Pia is right - we needed to prioritise other features and obviously fixes, like the ones you mentioned above.

    Our mobile apps have release notes but you're right, we haven't got any for the desktop one yet. However, we're currently working with our community providers to have a way to get some of these release notes across to you.

    And gapless is being developed since the end of last year. It'll be coming soon, we're still developing on some platforms and testing on iOS (not Beta ready yet).

    We're doing our best with what we have at the moment, so all your support is much appreciated :v_tone2:
