What is REALLY needed - to support player output using DLNA/UPNP. Spotify has it, and it's really rocks! both for android & windows & mac... will you support that?

Is this a Premium feature in Spotify? I have searched in my desktop settings having a regular account and cannot find it. Or maybe it is only visible with an external DAC connected?

So sad that i must vote to a feature that users waited for like 3 years now.

Reading all the comments makes me really consider switching to another service provider.

Please give us DLNA support !

I have tried all the independent streaming services in the market and sadly none of them meets all my expectations: good individual playlists, extensive repertoire, CD quality and support of my NAIM streamer.

As I am tired of waiting for Spotify establishing a HD sound option, I am simply hoping, Deezer will soon introduce DLNA support. Come on guys - do it!

If not directly - maybe an arrangement with the makers of BubbleUPnP could be made. They already support Tidal and Qobuz.

Hi @runaron

It's in our backlog, but because it takes quite some time, it isn't a top priority right now. We'd like to ace that bit for you, so please bear with us until we get there :pray_tone2:

In the meantime, I'll pass on your suggestion about BubbleUPnP to our devs.

That would be a nice workaround and a usable option for many users!

Hello everybody, you can try StreamWhatYouHear, it’s an open source app and with this you can stream all sounds from pc to upnp..

It’s for Windows OS, there is another app called jamcast but it’s not freeware..

Thanks for sharing your experience with the community @AC2N :v_tone2:

If it can help, it's definitely made for ... However I think that Deezer should allow the sound to be sent directly to my upnp network ... And a little more would be the fade between the songs in order to have a mix followed by my favorite tracks .. Go Deezer developers to work ..!

Users have been waiting for a solution to this problem for too long. I will wait until October 30, then I leave.

The problem is that at the moment even when using Chromecast, the quality is not HiFi (and this doesn't seem to be just a recent issue looking at user reports in past months), so now there is no way to stream HiFi music with Deezer unless directly supported on the AV receivers. It is very very strange that it takes sooo much time to support features that are a "must" when you propose an HiFi service.

Hi all,

I found another software for streaming on upnp receiver, it’s another opensource software it’s called LocalAudioBroadcast, it’s easy and work fine, with this I can stream Deezer on my Harman Kardon AVR265.. TRY IT..

Download > https://github.com/protyposis/LocalAudioBroadcast/releases/download/v1.2.3/LocalAudioBroadcast-v1.2.3.zip

Thanks a lot for sharing this with us @AC2N at least there are options out there until we get to improve this part of our service :pray_tone2:

Hey @Mox83 you're referring to Chromecast Audio, right? Chromecast devices (not audio) do stream in HiFi :thumbsup_tone2:

@AC2N @Rudi  do you know a similar software to LocalAudioBroadcast for Android?

@Cosmin.Diaconu  I’m not sure but you can try Bubble Upnp..

@Cosmin.Diaconu you can try https://www.airmusic.app/#home

@AC2N thanks mate. I guess this is not really an option to root the phone. But I really appreciate your help.

As said I do not find it right to root the phone and I hope the guys from Deezer will do things properly

Zzz.. Que font les devs ? C’est si long que ça ?

@Cosmin.Diaconu

Stream From Android

  • Usually, your device must be rooted in order to allow the app to capture the audio from the Android system

Or need Android 10...

@Cosmin.Diaconu you can try https://www.airmusic.app/#home

Is it work DLNA with airmusic to stream Deezer HIFI, can someone try?

@AC2N i have Android 10. What would I have to do than?

@AC2N i found actually the setting inside the app. Did not see that it should work without root on Android 10.

Fortunately I found a workaround using a Chromecast device.

For now dlna seems not to work with my current network settings. I'll try fix this and I'll be back when news arrive

Which steamer you use for DLNA?

@vrbanekbranko i have a Hegel H95 for dlna, Apple airplay and Spotify connect.

Also, I have a raspberry pi with volumio for other stream services.

Spotify connect works cross network subnets which makes it really tempting. But i need to see if the audio quality is the right one.

Also I was thinking of Tidal over dlna. I haven't used this service so far and I am really curious about it.

I did not bother yet with any other service as I have found this Chromecast workaround (which works quite well for me and with good audio quality) and I have a more complex network configuration that makes it hard for me to connect to dlna.

And I really really want to try Tidal when I'll be able to make dlna connection work properly.

While I find a solution for dlna problem maybe Deezer will offer a solution to this, although I don't think it's the case.

Unfortunately I will cancel my deezer service because of this missing  casting functionality. Amazon Music and Spotify offers me the possibility to cast to my Amazon Echos Studio from withimng their android apps.. Even though I can use vocal commands , most of the time playslists commands would not be recognized and I just don’t like the fact that I can’t play music from the app where I can see albums covers, songs, recommandations, etc. I am a visual type of person so I need to see ehat I want to play.  You still can do it via Bluetooth but  at the lesser quality of music and range.  Therefore This feature is important and Deezer should  seriously consider implementing. Thank you
