Deezer Playstation app

The question is does Spotify bought the exclusivity right to be the only music platform on PS4 or is it just that Deezer developers didn't take the time to develop the app?

We're tackling several big features at the moment, that will benefit all users, and they're taking priority. But keep providing feedback, it's encouraged because this is a popular ideas - hence the assessment we've made 👍🏼

I understand, but as a ps4 user, i really really will aprecciate to use my favorite platform of streamming for music instead being forced to use spotify, i think that claim for the deezer on ps4 are not new, this topic had a 1 year and the same answer by deezer, so the one million dollars question is: "isn't on the plans for now or isn't on the plans forever?". Please listen to your community.

Hey so I’m mainly here to keep this thread rolling(just to make sure it doesn’t fall off until we get the app)
I’ve been using Deezer since I think 2016? I only have my ps3 not a PS4, but I’d literally go out and buy a PS4 tomorrow if an app for Deezer was available on it. Not trying to sob story or anything but when I couldn’t afford a home or apartment and was living out of my hubby’s car with him we listened to Deezer every night bc it had podcasts and music and all sorts of stuff to escape from the day-and now it’s a force of habit to go to sleep at night listening to stories and podcasts together but we’ve been having to use YouTube since there’s no way to get Deezer onto the TV which isn’t great since it’s not a continuing channel.
Sorry to the devs for the rant, I’m just oddly passionate about Deezer. I’ve even gotten my friends to get accounts and now pay for the family plan so my parents have something to listen to that has options for their preferred languages(French and German respectively).
I’m going to keep checking, and if needed I’ll post another annoyingly lengthy comment lol

I’m new to Deezer (signed up today for trial) and one of my considerations for the late entry to the service is the fact that it’s not yet available on my PS4. The reason I’m drawn to Deezer is because it provides a family plan option in my country which Spotify does not. I hope the developers make a serious effort to get Deezer up and running in the PS4 environment as the latter has a significantly larger following than Xbox. Sony claims there are more than 100 Million players on their platform! I think it will be well worth the effort in growing the Deezer support base to get this app on the PS4.
If it’s going to not be in the cards for this year, might as well start your development with a PS5 version once that drops and then backfill to PS4 if practical

Deezer is existing since 2007 and almost nothing... NOTHING HAPPENED AT ALL HOLY CLOUD ARE U ACTUALLY MILKING US??
No joke if Deezer is still sleeping on the PS5...

Would appreciate a deezer app on the ps4 (if not then the ps5), and I hope it does happen soon.

Adding a PS4 app shouldn't be dictated simply by your paying users wanting the access. You should also understand that the PlayStation 4 community is one of the largest worldwide. An app could bring Deezer more business and exposure to the world. It only makes sense, especially when the Xbox has a Deezer app now! Please get this done, at least for the upcoming PlayStation 5 if not the 4. Thanks!

We agree with you about their community. We'd like to develop a lot of our feature suggestions here, it's just that we need to choose which ones to prioritise according to the resources we have 
We'll be presenting a new refreshed report to our product teams about the most popular ideas very soon, including this one, to see if we can get more detailed feedback 
I don't think we're gonna get this ps-app soon if at all, I mean this discussion is going on for more than 2 years now, I think it would be nice to have but there are other subjects which for sure are more important.

First of all, thank you for your support, it's really important.
We couldn't start developing this idea before, but we're now coincidentally pushing a few of the popular ones forward so this is part of that. We hope to at least have an update about it soon
