I’m using the Deezer web version on Chrome/Mac.
- I search for the Artist I want to listen to
- I click on Tracks
- I click on a track to play
Expected: play the track that I selected, then play the next track from the list of songs from the same artists.
Actual: play the track that I selected, then play some random algorithmic selected song that I don’t want.
Solution: Either play the one song I selected and stop or play the next song in the list of songs from that artist.
For example:
I search for Fleetwood Mac and click ‘Tracks’. I select a track I want to listen to ‘Little lies’, note how the next track in the list of songs is ‘Big love’.

The track plays and the queue shows the 1 song ‘Little lies’. When the song is finished a completely random song (addicted to love - robert palmer) starts playing and appears in the queue.

I expect:
- Deezer stops playing after the first song finished
- Deezer plays the next song in the list of songs from the artists (in the example above this would be ‘big love’
- A very clear UI element that allows me to stop automatic suggestions
Deezer thinks I want:
- A completely random and unrelated song to start playing.
If I want to auto mix or auto play random songs let me initiate that instead of making it default without a button to disable it. Also make it easier to play songs from a single artists instead of requiring to create a playlist, manually fill the queue or select a specific album.
