Opinions about the new visual identity of Deezer (Again)

I am more worried about broken and missing features than the childish new design. Those issues have not been touched in years, but they do seem to have the time to implement unwanted UI changes.

My opinions about the new design:

1. The new font (Deezer Sans) is horrible, it looks like the Fortnite font or children's app or a Halloween edition;
    

   

   
    
2. Logo looks like a dating app and the design is an aberration, on PC I can't see the details very well and the animation when starting up looks like a bat;
    

   

3. The user interface is ok on Android, but it has problems, the Favorites tab shows three songs from my Favorites, but I prefer to see my Playlists first to Favorites (if possible, create an option to change the order of this);
    

   

   
    
4. The UI and UX on Windows app doesn't work properly;

   Red Section: No longer slides the name of the song or the artists.
   Blue Section: Sometimes it doesn't show the playlists, just to create them and could have an option to change the size of the covers or remove them (like on Spotify). I also would like to customize de Playlist Order in this section.
   Yellow Section: It could be resizable (like in Spotify) and remove the Favorites and Downloads shortcuts (this could only stay in the Playlists section) and add the search shortcut in their place.

5. All the bugs that have already been reported are still present in this new version, including some are UI issues, like these buttons.

   

   This buttons never worked on Windows App.

This area of the UI with the now playing bar is such a pain in the ***. I’ve accidentally changed songs trying to pull up the now playing so many times because of this gap area that is a touchable zone (android touch boundaries shown) (RED).

WHY?

Additionally, the playlist landing page will scroll back up if you don’t fully scroll away from the album art collage at the top, which is incredibly annoying if you don’t have a newer car infotainment system and can select a playlist on that touch screen. I try to scroll in a playlist to select/change to a song and it GOES BACK UP.

RE the redesign and new logo, and I love purple, but the logo does look like a dating app now, these other issues are just poor UX/UI design decisions in my opinion. I really hope these are reverted to the previous, more stable version.
The now playing bar especially, because every other music and podcast is how it was before this change, and you don’t accidentally change songs/podcast midway through because your thumb was a bit too low.

it is very disrespectful to say on a google review “leave your opinions about our rebranding on our forums”, to then go ahead and delete any negative feedback and even changing comments(allegedly).

contact customer support if they will enable an option to switch to old layout => go to website and leave feedback.

go to website to leave feedback => gets ignored and even silenced.

to be honest, its worse than an abusive relationship.

we, the paying customer, are the butt end of some marketing teams joke.

Like I stated before, I already cancelled my subscription.

revert this back and I will be back, simple.

If not, I leave my money at the competition. plain and simple.

stop listening to whatever marketing person is telling you to stick to it, this will kill you as a company.

How long until the next mass thread deletion? Play store feedback asked me to comment in the deezercommunity. Then all the negative comments and full threads get deleted?????? It must be panic mode at deezer HQ to start hurrying the bad news with all these deletions. My lists are already exported and I have started using Tidal as a trial. I miss song catcher nd voice search, but not as much as the old actually good Deezer v7.
