Oh god, @mareejahdanic, you’re right. It looks exactly like the Viber heart, and that’s why using Deezer keeps reminding me of talking with my least favorite relatives :’)

It’s truly impressive how they managed to develop a visual identity that nobody likes. A Viber-Fortnite-Undertale Frankenstein, complete with art that looks like it was taken from Freepik.com.

But then, their messaging around the update was even worse than the update.

Seriously pathetic. Been a customer since Google Play Music was killed, but it's time to find another platform. I didn't join Deezer for this crap. It used to look slick. This is the same crap every app has now. It's ugly and looks like it's for kindergartners. Now they're deleting complaints about it?

I'll take my money elsewhere, enjoy your purple toy. I'm sure all the kids on Spotify will be leaving it in droves to come here, so you probably won't miss our income. Any day now.

They are also making fun of complaining paying customers on social media.
