Anyone else having issue that moving window crashes the app? This is in windows 10, app version 5.20.0. Tried reinstalling but that didn’t help

I’m getting this crash on moving too.

Both in this and the previous versions, the app also intermittently crashes during play, just when on the background. Once a day or so. Small nuisance, although I do lose the current play queue.

Thanks for adding to this discussion @Renne what do you mean about losing the playing queue?

Does this happen on any playback or is it specific to playing albums, playlists, Flow, … ?

Hello @smallfish, could you try uninstalling it, restarting your computer, downloading again the app from our website and installing it again?

Let me know how it goes

didnt go! get this error

I only meant that in the context of the desktop player crash. I often add songs/albums to the play queue bit by bit as I go along listening - and all that gets lost when the player goes and crashes. When I relaunch the player, the play queue is the standard default selection of some current tracks.

5.20.0 Windows 10 here. Bug with discography. For example:

Joey Alexander, only single album is shown in discography:

But if you navigate to Top Tracks:

And you can go to not listed albums from here. Albums really exist:

A bit frustrating behavior.

Hi there @0x49D1

Thanks for letting us know.

I believe that's an issue with the artist profile page, not the desktop app. Could you please post us the link for the artist?

Hey @Renne

Thanks for getting back to us on that one. It's a shame the queue isn't saving before the crash. I'm gonna let our devs know about this.

Hi @jimjim

Please uninstall the app, restart your PC and download it again from here:

When I relaunch the player, the play queue is the standard default selection of some current tracks.

Did you enable play queue synchronisation in the audio quality settings? Then it should be saved in the cloud to be accessible on all your Deezer devices.

The desktop app just randomly crashes on Windows 10. Sometimes when clicking through a song and sometimes while the app is on the background and im not even touching it. I tried the browser player to see if it would also crash but it just seemed to buffer way too much. I have used Spotify and Tidal which neither had buffering or crashing issues, just saying that my internet connection should be fast enough. (100mbps)

Are there any good known stunts to perform which could potentially help with the crashing?

Hi. I'm using the web browser version of deezer. For a couple days it's not anymore possible to listen music with the browser because about error MS0610. I've already cleared my cache and cookies - it doesn't work. But if i open deezer in incognito mode it works. What should i do, to fix this error/bug?

Thanks for the hint. I have tried play queue synchronisation before and I suppose it would work for this. However, I listen on multiple devices, often for different purposes, and I rather prefer to keep the play queues separate.

I am having an issue where my primary monitor is flickering when Deezer is selected. The issue goes away when I move Deezer over to my secondary monitor, or when I select another window (ex. Deezer is still on my main monitor, but I click on Chrome instead). I am on Deezer 5.20.0, and Windows 10 Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042.

I’m using version 5.20 on Windows 10 . Sometimes I get an error “The content is not available .Try again later” when I’m navigating to the Albums section . Only restart to the app fixes it .

Hello.

There is a bug on playlist search. It does not search all the tracks from it.

I search for Ti-Mo Remixes and there’s plenty of that, but it just can’t find as well on many other names. The search is useful, it just somehow does not work all the time somehow.

It also can not find Rocco or Bass-T. Many searches just does not work even if list.

I think this is a bug, fix please.

I have this issue for a couple of months already.

Currently also at the most recent version 5.30.0.0.

I have 3 displays: 2560×1440 @ 125% scale, 2560×1440 @ 100% scale, 1920×1080 @ 100% scale.

Any attempt to move the main window causes the same crash as you recorded on video. Even jump-moving to other monitor (Shift+Win+←/→).  Resizing the window leads to crashes. too.

Hello.

I can not open on web app these albums.

!

Error

An error occurred, please try again later.

RETRY

Volume 2 opens.

Edit: seems that time fixed 😃 Now they open.

I found an error in event log caused by WindowsUpdateClient: 0x80073D02: 9NBLGGH6J7VV-Deezer.62021768415AF. Application couldn’t automatically update, so I did manually.

Now version is 5.30.10 and I will check if problem still exists

Thanks @Paweł Bednarz

Have you checked out our desktop app group here in the community? I think you’ll be a great addition in terms of feedback :relaxed:

Hey @moxy

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, super useful. I’ve forwarded everything to our devs so that they can have a look :thumbsup_tone2:

Search feedback passed on as well @hpguru

If this is any use to the devs, on the latest desktop update (Version 5.30.10 (5.30.10.48)), I’m finding the downloads stopping on my own playlists instead of automatically downloading when you open the client. I didn’t have this on the previous version. It’s only on the Mac mini M1, downloads are fine on my old intel MacBook Pro.

Not sure if this has been posted or not, but when I try to open the Deezer app for Win10, it asks me to login which I’ve had no issues with before. But now when I click “Log In” it opens a browser window that says “Authentication - You’re in!” but there is no change within the app - it still is at the login screen.

I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling but no difference. I am using the browser app instead for now.

Hello! In the last 10 days Deezer desktop app on Windows 10 randomly crashing 1-3 times a day. Please fix it, thanks!

I ran into this issue immediately after upgrading from 5.30.0.0 to 5.30.10.0. The Deezer app is opened from any web browser from the “You are in!” page (the one which appears after the authentication), but pressing that Open button just clears the Deezer app window and goes back to Deezer log in screen, ignoring that I just logged in. After many attempts I found a way to log in: In the browser, keep the “You are in!” page open for a minute or two. (For the record, I used Edge browser.) Then refresh the page (F5 key) and click that “Open” button again (it appears in the pop-up after few seconds). In my case, the app suddenly authenticated me, displaying big error "404 Page not found” in the central area and usual menus on the edges. Using menus, it was easy to continue listening again.
