Thanks for coming back to us. A lot of scrobbles have appeared today with the same issue of multiple scrobbles (i.e. two songs being scrobbled for 20-30 times each).
Still not scrobbling for me :(
Looking forward for the fix, Deezer!
An idea of when this issue will be solved? I'm really considering moving to Spotify because of that...
Some but not all of the tracks I have listened in the last couple of weeks have appeared in last.fm. Although the dates are totally wrong (some of the tracks I listened about two weeks ago were scrobbled yesterday). But it still not scrobbling as I play. I use webplayer and android.
Same here... some songs did appear with some weird random delay (days / weeks).
It would be nice if the developer also fix the problem with double (at the moment single ... ;-)) scrobbling of songs in combination Sonos & Deezer.
Hi everyone,
I do not know why my Deezer app on iPhone 8 Plus does not scrobble although I have linked my Deezer account with Last.fm on PC. It still works on my Android phone so I'm very confused.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks.

Still nothing works for me. Only with plugin. I was desperate for some solution to the problem. I bought a Yandex music subscription.
It has started scrobbling in real time on iOS. Hopefully this is it.
Finally, nice news here! Just checked it on Web/Chrome/MacOS both old and new design , and iOS app - everything is working immediately. Thank you for the fix, Deezer, and don't forget about scrobbler for all your further updates
Hi @RyoheiRBHudson it seems to be fixed for others, does it work for you now too?
Still don't work for me since more than 1 Month
I can confirm that the internal scrobbling option of the Deezer web player works again, also with the same quirks as before, i.e. not submitting the ampersand symbol in artist and track names and only scrobbling after a track has ended, not after 50% of the track length. Using their old Windows 10 app will also scrobble then, probably just like their mobile apps as well. I don't know if their new beta desktop app also uses the internal scrobble option then or not, as I cannot test it.
Works now for me!
HI @bluezzbastardzz thanks for that we will pass it on 😉
Scrobbling works again, thanks! And I always liked that you donβt have to wait for 50% of the track, you can capture an unlikable song in the library and know what to never return to.
There is no scrobble through the android app, when will that return?
Webplayer seems to scrobble again. So I'll be back with my subscription next month.
Thanks guys.
Oh and your webplayer is really much much nicer than on spotify, so keep that good work up here.

@Flo.Deezer @Anja @Rafael. -- Excellent that scrobbling works again. Thanks for fixing it!! Also Jon
@Maddieman from Last.fm, thanks for supporting the work. ο»Ώ
ο»Ώ I have only tried the web player so far, and I hope it is already okay on the mobile and desktop as well.
Now that the topic is still fresh, I would like to bring your attention to the fact that the current implementation of the
Last.fm Scrobbling API at Deezer is quite rudimentary. To my best understanding it should not be a complex API to follow properly. Please see (and all: vote!) this topic that I raised about a year ago:
https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas/324. Thanks a lot.
No, It still don't work for me
since mid october. I have tried everything :
- I checked if the Deezer web player is connected to my Last.fm account in its settings: it is. ( and It not appears in the settings of the beta desktop !)
- The Deezer web player is listed as a connected app in my Last.fm applications settings.
- I even tried a hard refresh of my Deezer and Last fm page in my browser (firefox).
But no scrobbles at all...
I'm tired
OK, so to summarize: it seems that this issue was partially-solved.
It works, BUT... only for some people, and only on the web player/desktop app. Android app still doesn't scrobble?
I've grown quite comfortable with 3rd party solutions for scrobbling instead of the half-hearted official Deezer implementations. The only instance where I'd need this is in the desktop app.
Is there any way to enable/disable scrobbling per app? (for example: off on webplayer, off on Android, on on desktop) Or is the toggle option global only?
I assume you mean the beta desktop app, not the old Windows 10 app, right? Someone just confirmed that the beta desktop app also scrobbles to Last.fm, although it does not have the Sharing option to link it like the web player. That would be same for Windows 10 app and the mobile apps, because linking the web player uses the API to connect to your Last.fm account, so the device does not matter. If that linking via web player doesn't work though, all other apps will not scrobble either. So you cannot enable scrobbling per app, only use a browser extension which also scrobbles from Deezer besides many other sites.
Still waiting. I've tried resetting, relinking, two separate last.fm account. Did not work on: web player on Google Chrome Version 70.0.3538.102, android application and the beta version of the program on Windows 10. Also tried on Google Home speaker integrated with a Deezer account - did not scrobble.
Works on iOS on iPad so far, and weirdly enough, it did scrobble a song on Microsoft Edge.
Hopefully, it will get fixed.
ok did some checking, seem that scrobbling on android app is working on the official catalogue, but scrobbling the uploaded mp3 songs from pc via deezer are not scrobbled at all like before.
I can confirm that scrobbling works for me also from the Android app (my version number is 6.0.3.44) -- in addition to the web player and the beta desktop app. Talking about the normal Deezer catalogue here. Hopefully all will have the same experience soon. And then, just looking forward to a
proper implementation! Tracks that are barely started before skipping should obviously not be registered.
