Hey there @Mansa X,
We are working on it, I can assure.
I know it still happens, still happens on my phone too :(((
What I do is force stop and restart the app, then it goes.
It is annoying I know, we are looking for the cause to fix it.
I am experiencing the same issue in 2023 August 31. Is there another fix for this issue? Otherwise i am looking elsewhere for offline music listening.
Warm Regards,
Just did a road trip, 12 hours both ways and listened to my playlists in offline mode the entire trip. No issues at all on iPhone 13 to CarPlay.
The whole car experience for both car play and Android needs a major overhaul. And I mean major. A lot of people consume music in their vehicles and app support needs to include this.
I also listen on my phone now and then and Sonos, however my main use is in the car.
if you don’t have any customers, you no longer have a viable offering as word of mouth / reviews will sink you faster than you can blink. £15 a month is expensive now and the easiest cut to make in my budget.
Ive used Spotify on applecar play and it blows this out the water unfortunately. Unless this improves and quickly, I’m prepared to lose HiFi in exchange for a solid experience where I’m not having to spend five minutes faffing on with bugs.
everyone has tried rebooting their phone and clearing caches etc. that’s not the issue.
Hello @Ginger Badger our efforts in the past months, was to create a standalone app that is already available in the Android store for some brands that we have reach an agreement with them.
In 2024, this app will be appearing in several major brands and with that improvements in the initial launch are planned to happen.
Regarding Carplay and Android auto we know the experience could be even better, but we don’t major update coming in next months.
About listen offline on Android Auto there isn’t any plans to develop that feature for now. On Carplay, there is an option to listen download content, just like @BigFKahuna mentioned above.
Hi @MordauntJeff how can I help you ?
