I have had Deezer for several years. I am unable to connect my Google Home to Deezer from Denmark. As thatcis possible with Spotify I am thinking of switching to Spotify.
But before I would like to hear what Deezers plans are on this topic ?
And why it is not possible by default?

Hi there, we 're working on expanding to more countries constantly and have added quite a few over the last couple of months. As of now I don't have any details about what countries are going to be added and when I'm afraid. But we're in touch with the team and will let the the community know as soon as we know more 🙂

Hi there. We have passed the feedback on to Google Home already, but this is not something we can change from our side, I'm sorry. We will keep passing the feedback on to Google Home and hopefully soon it will be available in Denmark.

We are not able to provide any timeline for this I am afraid as this does not depend only on us. We will announce it here once this is available 😉
Any updates on this topic ?

Hi @Bjarne Villendrup unfortunately not. Once it will be launched we will update you guys here. Please be aware that this does not only depend on us I am afraid.
Any news on this? Just got my Google Home and considering if I need to shift to Spotify 😞
Just a heads up for those considering a move to Spotify. Spotify has problems as well. A number of users, myself included are experiencing problems with the audio cutting out when playing a playlist, with the message that another device is playing at the same time, without that being the case. This happened with Bluetooth speakers, even before I purchased a Chromecast Audio or a Google Home device. This has been going on for quite some time. The weirdest thing happened when I had linked up the Chromecast Audio and the Google Home Mini. I had just installed PC Linux OS (a Linux distribution) and the Spotify program for Linux. I happened to have the Chromecast Audio connected stereo on, and as soon as I started Spotify on Linux, I got a verbal message over Chromecast Audio that there was another device playing, without any other device connected (or for that matter without casting from the Spotify program to Chromecast Audio). In other words, a complex problem, apparently without a solution in sight, as neither anyone from the community or Spotify tech support have replied to the thread. Music cutting out every few minutes to give you an erroneous message does not provide a positive listening experience. I have found threads on this issue going as far back as 2016... That is why I am testing Deezer Premium as an alternative.

BTW, the more I interact with Deezer support, the more friendly and responsive I think they are. Spotify 99 percent of the time relies on community support, without any official support interaction. Something to consider.
Sonos will soon launch integration with Google Assistent but this requires Deezer to support google as well. How much longer will we have to wait?
