Stop at end of current track

I really dislike interrupting music in the middle of a track. It would be great to have a "stop playing at end of current track" button (e.g. holding down pause) for OCD people like me 😀.

Hi there, great idea!

@fms I don't think a stop timer would exactly what @Odaeus means though.

I am happy to forward this, get more users to vote for it 😉

I know it's not exactly the same and I am all for the original option, this my vote.. Just thought it might be a general option for a stop timer to end after x songs - or after (art least) x minutes but always art the end of a song. To have it triggered by holding pause instead of am additional button is a great idea.

YES! Exactly. I remember that back in the day when playing mp3s with my favourite player, I always used to end playing by holding shift when clicking "stop", and the song would nicely play to the end. I want that!

When enabled, it will finish playing the current track and move to the next track, but won't start playing it. Foobar2000 and many more advanced music players have this feature.
I'm mostly looking for this feature on desktop, but it'll be a welcome addition on mobile too.

I like the concept - I think this suggestion already exists here: https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas/661

Yes, that is the same idea. I tried searching for this idea and didn't find anything similar.

Yes! JetAudio on Android has this feature and it's really handy!

I'm not aware of any solution aside from removing all subsequent tracks from the queue, which is not feasible especially with soundtrack and classical albums with potentially over a hundred songs (I've even considered creating a script, but processing will still take time). I use the web player.

My desktop media player of choice, Quod Libet, has a setting called "stop after this track".

Considering that this vote exist, there doesn't seem to currently be such feature in Deezer.

The lack of this feature prevents me from using Deezer extensively, and perhaps also from subscribing outside of sale events. I listen to a lot of sountracks and classical music compilations with even over a hundred tracks and the only option to stop playback after the current song is to remove each track from the queue manually. It's entirely common for a classic release to last over ten hours (see Beethoven's "most popular" release); I consider the "stop playback after this song" option as basic functionality.

Hi @3940 it is correct, that this is not a feature that exists. Please vote above for it, we might implement this in the future 😉
