Thank you for reporting it. We haven't introduced any feature related to this. Some of our users are experience the error, so that's what we're working on.
If you're not willing to carry out troubleshooting tips, it's fine, we understand. How about not reinstalling the app, but changing your password? I've carried out some maintenance tasks on your account and sent a password reset email. Let me know if you're willing to try and if it helps 👍🏼
Hi @Rudi, I have already:
  • Removed all connected devices from the account
  • Reset my password
  • Uninstalled and installed the app again
None of these worked!
On Twitter, Deezer help it asking me to create a new account and tell you guys to move my stuff from one to another. I am really shocked and frustrated on how bad Deezer does on solving issues. So, your "solution attempt" means I can no longer have the username I want and I need to start all over again? I am still waiting for you guys to solve your issue, so I can resubscribe. But in case it takes too long, I will just start all over again, but with Spotify instead! Are you guys gonna be able to sort it before that? Cheers...


Hi, I'm having the exact same issue and am thinking of turning to Spotify since i have to start all over again...i will stay until the end of the month and if I don't get any help...well sorry Deezer, we had a good run...
Same problem here. Unlinked devices and changed password. That didn't help! I also have weird playlists not created by me:

Thank you for your patience and sorry that's happened. I've carried out some maintenance to your accounts, so please change your passwords following the email I sent. Avoid logging in using FB or Google. If the issue persists or you don't get the password reset email, let me know. In the meantime, our devs have already started looking into this.

Sorry email was in different folders made reset works fine so far 10 min no pop up message .... Fingers crossed will update on that .

I have the same error in my Android app. Password changed, logged out and back in, deleted and re-instaled the app - nothing works, error keeps coming. Please have a look at my account.
Same error in my Android app. Reinstalled the app, logged every device out, logged out and back in, and error continues. Please look at my account. When I connect using my iPad there is no error. Then is an Android related problem. Very annoying.
I have just had this happen to me today. I have reset password, uninstalled and re-installed the app and logged out of webpage and app and it's still happening. my phone is the only registered device.

Hey @Rudi, I am also experiencing this issue. I've changed my password, restarted my phone device and it keeps happening. I've also noticed that there are a lot of songs in my history none of which I have played myself. Can you let me know when this is resolved and what is the cause of this issue? Thanks.
Hello same issue here: i always use my phone only for deezer and not it stops, saying someone else is using it, even if i never gave my account info to anyone.

Rudi I’m having the same issues. Please assist. Seems odd a feature like google login wouldn’t be encouraged as well..
@Rudi hi Rudi, I am also experiencing this with my account too. I have a family account with three users, but we have not changed how we are using the app, but still get this message. Please can you investigate? Thanks DeezerMike
It keeps happening. And based on the number of users, it's definitely deezer's issues with social sites integrations. Mine using facebook and it just keeps filling my queue with artists Alkot Numes, etc and disconnecting. Made me paranoid and went through my facebook activity log and found nothing suspicious.
My account continues to be breached. I get emails saying my password has been changed, and my email updated to some guy in Algeria. My music is updated, he has put his name, address and DOB into my account, changed my image, linked his phone.

I have reset my password (after my account was lnked back to me), but again, he has linked the phone, changed my password and changed my music. I can see what he was listening too overnight.

What on earth is allowing this happen repeatedly? I don't have SM linked, this is direct premium account with deezer.
