Samsung Multiroom App Feedback: login and other issues

Hi,
I can't login to deezer via Samsung multiroom. It keeps advising the ID or password is wrong.

I've re-entered multiple times, even changed the password a couple of times, logged in and out of deezer directly using the same credentials (to prove it is correct).

Have reset the multiroom twice, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Powered off and on my mobile twice. Still advises wrong ID or password?

Is there a known problem currently occurring?

Cheers

Hello Gary,

It was nice talking to you earlier and again I do apologise that you are experiencing issues with using Deezer within the Samsung Multiroom app. As a music fan myself I can understand how frustrating this must be. This issue is not related to your Samsung devices but more to the Multiroom app itself. The problem can be fixed with a future software update.

I have just escalated this issue with the HQ and hope they will release a fix soon for this functionality between Deezer and the Multiroom app.

In the meantime feel free to contact the developers directly emailing multiroom@samsung.com

I hope you will be able to enjoy your music without any issue as soon as possible.

Kind regards,

Hi all, mine is still not working either. I’ve been speaking to Deezer support on twitter and tried their suggestions of logging out on all devices from Deezer, reset password and log back in. Now it’s worse I can’t access at all it says ID or password incorrect. Yet I can access ok on Deezer app. So must be a samsung MultiRoom app problem. I’m going to cancel my Deezer subscription tonight as it’s been weeks with no fix. This pretty much means my Samsung R speakers are useless. So disappointed and frustrated. Will try Samsung twitter support but not holding my breath for a fix!

Same issue here. Problem occurred when  I changed from Samsung J7 (android 9) to Samsung A71 (android 10). No problem over last 4 years but the multiroom system is now useless with Deezer but still works great with Tunein. Tried all the standard recommendations - reinstalling, restarting, etc - from Deezer but nothing works. I am sure this is fixable, it just needs some motivation from Deezer and Samsung which is glaringly missing. Looks like the only option for me is to try Spotify.

I thought the TV soundbar worked anyway.

Hi  Emma,

Not just using TV Soundbar, the group was centred on that.

Whole group is still working at the moment....

Fingers crossed it will stay that way.

Gazturner…

Could you please go into Deezer and choose something music inside the Deezer….

The screenshot you have taken is from the overall menu, where you can choose what provider you want use….. This is no problem for all of us…..
Could you please take a screenshot at the music you hear inside Deezer
