Hello guys,

yes I have expierenced this behaviour as well within the web player.

At first I thought this might be because the “next” song isn’t available in my country but that wasn’t the reason after all.

Windows 10

Firefox 91.5.0esr (64bit)

I hope this helps for further analysis

Hi, @Rudi. Thank you for suggestions. I have tried again with Chrome and Edge - did not work: one track play, then I have to refresh the page and play another track.

64-bit Windows 10 Home (ver 2004, 19041.329)

Chrome (ver 83.0.4103.116)

Microsoft Edge (44.19041.1.0)

same wit deezer app on ios.. :-((((

its since a few days i think.

iphone 6s

ios 13.3

battery 66%

battery energy saving modus off

battery max capacity 100%

deezer app version: 8.3.1(8.3.1.0)

increased smar cache from 12.74GB to 15.48GB on advise in earlier post. => still music stops.

app restarted => still music stops.

Windows app (on windows 10 pro) works fine.

For me it’s working again. Must have been a temporary problem.

Thanks team, you are awesome

Are you on a free subscription, @Zenbast? Have you tried on a browser just to test? Let me know, please!

Hi there @Plamena Mihaylova @Ruubmeister N Pappa Jaffa @Bogdan Oprescu @2399ML

Could you try to reinstall the app to the latest version and let me know if the issue persists? Don't forget to restart the device before installing the app again. Let me know what happens :thumbsup_tone2:

Hey @aatac

Sorry to hear that. What kind of troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Hi @Niksons Have you trying clearing cache and cookies of your Chrome? And changing audio quality settings on the desktop app? The issue could be caused by different things, I'm trying to see which bug reports fits best here :thumbsup_tone2:

Thanks for reporting back @Naravinger let's get it working for you too. Is this happening when you play a song from Flow, one that you searched for, or something else? If you help us with reproducing the issue, it's easier for our devs to fix it.

Hey @JedJd yes, please do keep us posted so that we can keep improving the experience!

Hi @Benga.Alexandru

Thanks for your honest feedback. We ask questions so that we can help our devs reproduce the issue. If you're being affected by this, could you please tell us the app version and in what part of the app the playback stops? I.e. Flow, mixes, personal playlists, everywhere… :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi The issue happens intermittently when playing at “High Fidelity” lossless quality. I’m casually just listening to playlists and it will happen sporadically when playing down the list. When I switch back to “Better” 320kbps it doesn’t happen. It’s not user error, something is causing playback failure when using “High Fidelity”.

Hey @Heather Miles does this happens at the end of each song or is random?
You don’t need to uninstall the app but upadte it to the latest version 8.51.0 if you don’t have it yet.
Thanks

I hae a Mac OS 10.14.5. Every time I use a bluetooth speaker, about 30 ft from the MAC, and I set an album to play on Deezer, the speaker cuts out after the first or second song. It did a little better when I used FLOW. I have reinstalled twice in the last few weeks. If this can't be fixed I will have to drop my membership.

Hi there, not sure if this isn't something with Deezer, probably something with the bluetooth connection... please reinstall the app and reset everything, including your wifi, and see if it gets better!

I’m getting this when using the Android app with a bluetooth (non-smart) speaker.  A song will play, then the app plays the next song but there’s no audio, then the third song plays with audio through the speaker.  Weird.

If, as a song is “playing” without audio, I stop and start the track, the audio starts playing through the bluetooth speaker like it should. Again… weird.

If I stream Deezer to my Google Nest mini, the music plays normally. Weird.

I just experienced the same symptoms in Linux using Chromium: only 1 song plays and at the end of that song the next button does no longer work, the play button restarts the last song and clicking on any other playlist or song indeed changes the title of the played song in the track-container (bottom of page) and in the window title bar, but without changing the actually played song.

The solution for me was to restart the browser, re-open the Deezer web page and accept the cookies. Rejecting the cookies seems to cause the described behaviour, and I guess this is what I had done earlier.

Forget about my solution. Sometimes restarting and refusing the cookies also works. And sometimes restarting while accepting cookies does not help. And both with and without cookies the playlist blocks. So it’s not cookies related or at least not strictly.

Hmm … it might have been a Chromium version issue after all. Now I’m on 100.0.4896.75, which installed on April 7th, and it works. Three days ago, at the time of my higher comment, 100.0.4896.60 was still installed. And Deezer seemed to get stuck on a call to https://ww400.smartadserver.com/400/call. So, maybe it was something add-related linked to the Chromium version installed. Firefox works and, 3 days ago, worked fine.

Hi there @Dubstepfireball @biebersepiphany @Dmitry Plyaskin

Thank you so much for the reports. Could you please try something rather unusual? Could you please log out and reset your passwords? Let me know how it goes!

Hey @Cimethar

That's very interesting feedback. Our devs are constantly working on the Web version, and browsers are also updating all the time - it's important to have this kind of feedback constantly. So please keep me posted!

@frac apologies for that, we've been having some issues with Firefox for a while, but we continue to work on it :thumbsup_tone2:

I have also the same problem which is really annoying.

Free account.

Linux desktop operating system.

Thanks @Phaeton85 for the information. In addition, what is your internet provider?

This might be the repeat of:
https://en.deezercommunity.com/other-devices-49/fixed-music-stops-after-playing-one-song-on-browser-7208

Debug info:
Using Google Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98 on Debian-based Linux with kernel 4.18.10

I have the same issue on three different laptops, on two or three different browsers on all those three laptops (IE, Chrome, Firefox). It does not happen on the mobiles, though. We have free accounts, we do not use the desktop app and all devices run under Windows. It seems a very systemic problem, happening to quite a lot of people.

Have you solve this problem mate?

Im still have the same problem, since like 2 weeks ago.

Im using Chrome and Firefox in Linux. I tried in Win 10 and happens the same. Also i tried with two accounts.

I have the same problem, on browser and free account. After playing a song appears a message saying that it seems there’s no connection, and I can’t play the next song until I reload the page. I’ve tried the Windows 10 app and happens the same.

I’ve been making tests and observed that, if I start a song and then forward it near the end, then Deezer changes to the next song correctly. The issue appears when I listen all the song from start to end, then is when Deezer can’t play the next song.

When Deezer tries with no exit to play the next song, this error appears in the console:

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://ww400.smartadserver.com/400/call. (Reason: CORS request did not succeed). Status code: (null).

And sometimes appears this error too:

Uncaught SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data

File: smart.js:4:89706

I am having the same problem here, and it started today. I already changed passwords, deleteded all data and cache, uninstalled and erased all the devices, and still, I am not able to listen to it witjout this interruption. Please, what can you do?
