Hi @Rudi

As I’m using a free account I’m not able to change quality settings - or what do you mean exactly?

With a premium account everything works perfectly fine and I couldn’t discover those issues.

Hi,

I have been experiencing a similar problem. I'll be listening to a track and then it will cut out, come back and then stop all together. I will go on the app and the app will close.
I pay for Deezer premium and use the app.
I have cleared the cache and restarted my phone. I am reluctant to uninstall and re install incase I lose everything.

Please can you advise.

Many thanks in advance.

If this happens to you in a web browser, check your media autoplay permissions.

I have the same problem. Music stops after played song. After reload page I can listen only one song and after deezer stops again…

I was changing browsers, clear caches, nothing helped me.

I listen music in browser, Chrome last version, free acc.

Dev console (Sorry it’s Russian not English)

Hey @Phaeton85

Thanks for letting us know about your experience. Have you tried restarting your internet router to see if it helps?

Thanks, Rudi for answer.

I use direct internet cable without router. What i can do - is restart the web-page play one file and all over again.

I have the same issue.
Music stops after 1 song. Next button doesn`t work. If I click on an playlist, first song start to play.
This issue is in all browsers in PC and Windows app also. Only reload page allow to play other song once again.
I tried to clear site data, browser data, reload PC etc.

But if I open my account on other PC it works.

When playing a playlist or an album I would expect the next song to automatically start after the current song ends.
The current behavior, however, stops the playback after one, or just a few songs. When this happens I cannot manually switch to a new song, all play/pause buttons control the song that just ended. So until I reload the page all I can do is listen to the same song over and over.

Hello the same problem. try 3 other browser. Edge, Opera. Everywhere this problem. Win 10 last vers

On the free version of the desktop app for Windows 10, 4.20.21, the repeat the same song appears to be broken. It works until it hits an advert, at which point after the ad has finished it goes to the previous song on the playlist, and then that repeats until another ad, et cetera.

Hi @Rudi,

just tested this some minutes ago, I reset my password, logged back into Deezer webpage, same issue, player stops after 1 song (on PaleMoon) and the next button doesn’t react. When I refresh the page I can play one more song.

I tried the same on Chrome and here it worked, I was able to listen to 5 songs in one row.
After this I closed Chrome and re-tested with PaleMoon, and this works too, for now.

If the issue reappears I’ll keep you posted.

Kind Regards,

Cimethar

I’m experiencing the same issue on Windows 11. And I saw somebody mentioning it only happens when using bluetooth speaker, which sounded like it couldn’t be related.

However, funnily enough, I can reproduce it with 100% accuracy:

  • With bluetooth headphones the next song will play for a portion of a second and stop
  • Without bluetooth headphones the next song will play normally

So there is definitely something related to remote headphones.

Same issue with the PC version.

Whenever I use a playlist, the first song plays, sometimes the second one, and then it just … stop. And it’s stuck on THAT song. I can play it again but I can’t pick another song until I shutdown the whole software.

Tried uninstall and install again, didn’t fix it.

I think the issue apparread after I used the “play a song on loop”. (It may be just a bad timing, but it occured after that).

Hello nothing change since i last say here.
I try 3 browsers and 2 times install desktop app. Can u check my account or etc. Bc now idk what wrong with me

Do you have any battery saver, clean master or anti-virus installed?

Sup dear, no battery save, its dekstop PC, no clean master.
Anti-virus - avast free version.

please disable the antivirus and see if it helps. Sometimes anti-virus apps cause problems with AutoPlay of audios apps.

Okay, will try and say later

Ahh, my oversight @XELLEX

That could be the reason, the audio quality setting you may be causing the error. That's a new one.

I'll report it further, thank you!

Hi Ellie, please increase the smart cache and let me know if it helps! Go to the settings > app > and increase the smart cache.
If it doesn't work, please reinstall the app. You will lose your downloads, but will not lose any playlist/favorites as long as you login using the same email and password.

Hi @Peruna we are very sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue. Please bear in mind that listening to music is using loads of data. In case the issue only happens with mobile data, try strong Wifi or make sure your music is downloaded for sure

In case you are still experiencing the same issue, please contact us again.

I was trying to listen to music on the website but I realizaed that it won’t change the song I’m listening to, it will even say the song i’m supposed to be listening to but it’s the same song and I dont know how to fix it

Hi there @TheDioscuri @Roxanne Lebeuf @panduryk

If you have a HiFi subscription, please bear in mind that our devs have released a desktop app hotfix to reduce these tracks errors when playing in FLAC format. Please update the app or wait for the automatic download and let us know if you notice an improvement :thumbsup_tone2:

Thanks for adding to the feedback @panduryk - have you tried our desktop app by any chance?

Hello, the same problem with desktop app

Hello @Enrique Palacios, could it be possible that you’re using the same adblocker on all these browsers? You have a Free account (that’s what I see at least from my side), so maybe it stops when the ad is supposed to be played.

@Kevin Deezer  Mmmm. it didnt work.

  1. Im not using a different ad blocker than the one that comes by default with the browsers.
  2. So, i enter to the config menu in the Chrome / Chromium and mark turn off the ad block for deezer.com
  3. It worked for one song.
  4. Now it does not get the next song, and its strange. When i tried to change the song manually, the song that deezer played its the same song, i mean, it only changed the name. If you look at the screenshot im attaching you will see that “hasta el final (unplugged)’s time is 5:34 , but in the player is 2:38 (the time of the last song y played)
  5. Now the only way to change a song is refreshing the page.
  6. It happens with all the browsers.
  7. Im not a deezer expert, but it seems that the problem is with the user.
  8. It started to “not work” 2 weeks ago. It worked perfect before. (not changes in my pc)

Hi there @GameT1tan @Roger L.

Thanks for letting us know. Is this happening on 4.19.20?

@JedJd If it is, could you try downloading this version and trying again?

https://www.deezer.com/desktop/download?platform=win32&architecture=x86

Yes, the problem is happening on 4.19.20. I Unnistalled Deezer app and downloaded again via the link you provided. Just installed the app again and the problem persists.

I've just replied to you on another topic @rexar1988 thanks for the feedback!

Is this happening on the same track? If not, in what section is this happening?

Hello @Naravinger, I see you also have the Free offer, so it could be related to this. We’ll need to forward the information to our teams, sorry that I’m not yet able to come up with a solution. You have the issue with any content?
