Hi @GropplerZorn, I know it. Anyway, the playlist I tried was made by Deezer music editor.

This one also doesn't work. Why?

Hi…

please can you give us the links to the deezer playlists you are having trouble with?

If i use search option for me there is no deezer edited playlist called „midnights by tayler swift“.

Besides i recommend to use the voice command starting with: „Alexa, play the playlist „xxxx““.

Hi @Superschlumpf, this is playlist I tried in original post: https://deezer.page.link/mUpQKRxKgNq59yFk8

Midnights is Taylor Swift’s latest album. It should work too, obviously it doesn't. https://deezer.page.link/7AJqpkbyP6uJDdmK6

This post should start discussion why Alexa integration is so crapy with deezer instead of competitors.

@jirikovoego

Thank you for the examples and links…

I also gave up trying it. No success…

It‘s strange, sometime for me it works but sometimes it‘s such frustrating to use Alexa.

Hey @jirikovoego

I’m sure you saw the thread I linked; it’s three years old with 122 replies. The discussion has been had over and over. Most of us Alexa users are hoping that the underdog deezer will be able to improve the integration with their smaller team.

The discussion inevitably turns to the competition because people consider which service is going to work best for them. I have friends who don’t use smart speakers at all and don’t care about this. I have them throughout my house and do most of my listening that way, so it’s important to me.

No one is downplaying your issues or your frustrations. I see newly released playlists (the InVersions 90s, for example) that I can’t get to work through Alexa, and of course, my daily mixes and personal playlists.

I’ve made my peace with it and value deezer for everything else it brings and, again, hope that this particular aspect improves. Your situation may be different.

Cheers

G
