Deezer not showing up as music service in Google Home

Hello everyone.
I have a Deezer family subscription, and in the Google Home app on Android, I cannot get Deezer to show up in the list of music services. Note that Spotify does show up in the list (see screenshot).
Also, when I tap on “other music services”, nothing happens.

I really would like to use this because I have a Google Home device and I cannot play music on it if Deezer is not added as a music service in Google Home. I can, of course, cast Deezer to my device (like I’m casting to a chromecast) but I cannot use the speech recognition of the google home device and tell google “play Michael Jackson on Deezer” because it is not in the list of music services.

    That's because Deezer isn't available for Google Home devices in Israel yet. I know it isn't good news, and trust me, we'd like to be one of Google's partners and have Deezer available worldwide. However, Google hasn't been on the same page about this and that's why we need to work on a country-by-country basis.

    We're currently trying to bring Deezer Free for Google Home users in the countries we've already got. Once that's completed, we'll be pushing for more countries to be added. Your feedback here plays a big part on which one is next!

    Hello, friendly Community crew! Hello from the Netherlands. Unfortunately there's not much recent news in this thread. Have any countries been added at all in the past year? Is Google still keeping the door firmly shut? Can you give any insight into Google's reluctance to allow a Deezer as a service on their Nest/Home devices? Any progress on negotiations? We share your frustrations, please share any and all progress with us!

      I’m having this issue in England when the UK is one of the supported countries - has the google deezer relationship devolved?

      Hello from Croatia! Interestingly, I am not able to set any music service as default (not even YouTube Music).

      If I ask Nest to play something, it says 'Deezer is not available in your country'.

      I've sent tons of feedback messages to Google every time I try to set default music player, 'cause it frustrates me... no response...

          Since this week I drive an XC40 Recharge with Android Automotive. Deezer does not support this platform. I am a happy user of Deezer HiFi via Sonos but will switch to one of the 3 competitors that support Android Auto. One of them also with HiFi quality. Hate doing this though.

            Was a happy user for many years (10+). Could live with the lack of integration with google assistent though my home is mostly voice controlled. I was an early user of Sonos so the Deezer UI was not used and voice integration is done by Sonos. Loved the lossless music quality.
            Now my car does not run Sonos so Sonos does not help here with “play via Deezer”. 
            I canceled my Deezer HiFi subscription and might come back when Deezer is ready.

            I understand where you are coming from; a native app through AAOS for deezer would be ideal. I am happy to hear that it is being developed as we speak.

            In the meantime, I am using CarPlay to enjoy my deezer subscription. I am able to maintain lossless audio quality and all the deezer features I have come to love.

            I hope that we will see you back with deezer soon.

              I used carplay in my last car and deezer worked ok. However there are sone drawbacks. Among them:

              • Hi google for some services and hi siri for others
              •  No free, unlimited internet
              • Wired connection from phone 
              • Competing navigation systems: Maps and Cards
              • No additional services fot EVs in Cards like charging points and charging advice
              • …

              So, i will wait and see
