Deezer not showing up as music service in Google Home

Hello everyone.
I have a Deezer family subscription, and in the Google Home app on Android, I cannot get Deezer to show up in the list of music services. Note that Spotify does show up in the list (see screenshot).
Also, when I tap on “other music services”, nothing happens.

I really would like to use this because I have a Google Home device and I cannot play music on it if Deezer is not added as a music service in Google Home. I can, of course, cast Deezer to my device (like I’m casting to a chromecast) but I cannot use the speech recognition of the google home device and tell google “play Michael Jackson on Deezer” because it is not in the list of music services.

That's because Deezer isn't available for Google Home devices in Israel yet. I know it isn't good news, and trust me, we'd like to be one of Google's partners and have Deezer available worldwide. However, Google hasn't been on the same page about this and that's why we need to work on a country-by-country basis.

We're currently trying to bring Deezer Free for Google Home users in the countries we've already got. Once that's completed, we'll be pushing for more countries to be added. Your feedback here plays a big part on which one is next!

Hello @Tillbom Rudi is not with us any more, but thanks for bringing this back.

I would love to give you better news, but unfortunately, there are no changes in the supported countries.

Just double check with the team, and the countries where Deezer is available are the ones we have in the article - Deezer on Google Nest Audio

A workaround that sometimes works in voice assistants is to change the location of the device to a country that is supported.

I agree with @Stefan Sandberg.
I live in Sweden and would really like to use Voice Commands to have Deezer play in my Google Home speakers (not Casting).

I'm an OG user of Deezer, but since moving to Ireland 8 years ago you don't have it set up to work with Google Assistant here... This means you are useless to me! I contacted you a couple of years ago about the same and was told it would get implemented... It hasn't.

Now, this was depressing to read. I just signed up for Deezer, as of today. And when I googled "deezer with google home" it looked very promising, with an instruction and everything. But I'm getting the exact same result as the user who wrote the original post here - four years ago. 😞 So I'm guessing that country by country rollout plan didn't work so well?

Any chance at all to get this working?

(I really, really don't want to go back to Spotify.)
