Android Auto and Deezer - Downloads and Offline mode

When I put Deezer into offline mode and use it through Android auto no playlists or albums are shown even though they are downloaded. This would really help in reducing data usage on a long drive.

Also, when browsing albums in Android auto it would be great to find based on artist. My album list is quite long and when trying to find a new album when I can't remember the name is difficult.

Any help here would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jon

Have same issue.

Some temporary solution:
In offline mode, on phone navigate to downloaded albums, playlist. Green dot will appear beside downloaded albums, playlists. Dont clear Deezer from memory, Android auto will see downloaded albums and playlist. If you clear Deezer from memory you will need to navigate to downloaded playlist again.

Hi @Mortadella, thanks for sharing your feedback.

I’ve passed this information along to our developers.

As soon as I have any updates, I’ll make sure to let you know.

Hello @Mortadella, I wanted to update you regarding your request about Android Auto and the ability to see which playlists have been downloaded.

I checked in with our developers, and they informed me that this feature isn't in our plans for implementation at the moment.

Thank you for your understanding, and if you have any other questions or suggestions, feel free to share!

This is still my single biggest gripe with Deezer - Android Auto should have a "Downloaded" filter in My Albums, not show every one and force the driver to scroll endlessly for the album(s) they wanted to queue up.

It's even gotten worse recently, as offline mode isn't even respected in the current version of the mobile app, following the recent redesign - it now just shows every single album, when it used to only show downloaded albums and kinda do what we want here.

Note, not playlists - My Albums.
