After immersing us in a dreamlike journey through hell in Montero, Lil Nas X once again shakes up the norms by embodying his own comeback in the guise of a well-known deity, J Christ

A true teaser for his upcoming album, Lil Nas X follows the recipe of his success with a highly calibrated rap track. It echoes the spirit of "Old Town Road" with a chorus that he repeats in a loop, highly distinctive and easily catchy.

Chorus:

Is he up to something only I know?
Is he 'bout to hit them with the high note?
Is he 'bout to give them something viral?
Is he 'bout to hit them with the high note?

Accustomed to sensational moments, Lil Nas X is best known for his energetic music videos. Therefore, he starts this one with a scene from paradise featuring numerous celebrity look-alikes such as Barack Obama or Taylor Swift.

Lil Nas X embodies a modern, LGBTQ-friendly, and sexy paradise with a slightly kitschy touch.
In his J. Christ character, Lil Nas X sends a little greeting to his diabolical alter ego, who makes a special appearance for the Montero video. He then transforms into an NBA player who morphs into a sultry cheerleader. Throughout the song, he draws comparisons between biblical scenes and those worthy of the greatest American shows to announce the end of a chapter and the beginning of his rebirth. He has indeed declared that he will soon release a gospel album.

So, is Lil Nas X a music god or a marketing genius?

I don't listen that kind of music ,but I'm sure that he shook and stunned many with that music video.

Some of artist use marketing where they break all the norms just to be heard and seen .
