Error: requested content is not loading/fail to load content

:cyclone: Endless loading? If your phone app isn't loading the tracks or it's stuck with the message "Error: requested content is not loading", don't worry :smirk: . Try the steps mentioned below.

After each step, try playing the music again. If it’s still not working, go to the next step.

Steps for Android

  1. Restart the app (kill the app and remove it from the notification bar)
  2. Try another network (4G or Wifi)
  3. Restart your phone
  4. Delete all the cache & data from the app (Data and storage, and then “Clear all”), then restart the app
  5. Un-install the app and re-install the app

Steps for iOS

  1. Quit and relaunch the app
  2. Try another mobile (4G or Wifi)
  3. Empty Smart Cache
  4. Restart the phone
  5. Clear the app data
  6. Delete the app and reinstall it

The function to “Launch Track mix” is no longer working.

Regardless of the song, artist, etc. the same message comes up:

“Oops… The requested content is not loading.”

This has been the case for a couple of weeks.

Is there a fix?

(FYI I am using app version 8.33.0.3)

Thank you.

Deeper stops several times before it will play continuously.

Hello.

Since around 03.11.2021, I've started to recieve 'Error - failed to load content' on:

1) Both PC / Smartphone

2) Both cellular / Wifi

3) On any audio quality

Can you please confirm that this is a GLOBAL problem for all country users and your services, therefore, became useless in Russia?

Thanks.

Hi there @timaero

Thanks for reporting this. There's no issue with streaming in your country.

Please follow the troubleshooting above for your Android app.

On PC, please confirm the tracks in which this error message appears. It could be a content issue.

In the meantime, I'll let our developers know what you said. Have a great week!

Hey @Rudi !

Your app worked fine for years (and I was very happy with it), but it’s been around a week (maybe a bit more ?) I couldn’t use the function research anymore, I got either nothing in response or just “try another time”.

So I followed your advice, I removed everything, reinstalled it, and now nothing is displayed anymore (I can only log in, and then nothing loads, I cannot see my profile for example).

Here are the info about my device :

Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100P)

Android 4.1.2

Deezer 5.4.26.35 (last available version for my device)

Thanks for your help !

It is @EthanMiller

We're aware of that and we're working to sort this out permanently this year, with major improvements due to the Android app. We have to provide a more robust and reliable app for our Android users :relaxed:

I hope so. Judging from how long this issue has been around and that your suggested fixes don’t seem to work - they don’t work for me either - you will lose a lot of customers if you don’t sort this out!

Absolutely @Csaba.Veres we understand what's at stake here, so it's one of our priorities for this year.

What Android version do you have? @AriRu84

I say that because @Thomas Spct just explained he's on Android 4 and our app will no longer support this version - in order to be able to keep up with our improvements, new features and app performance!

Thank you for your support!

Hi Rudi, I'm on Android 11 on a OnePlus 8. I reinstalled the application once again after I wrote the post and it seems to be more stable so far. Fingers crossed. I'm also using Deezer HiFi, which probably doesn't make any difference but maybe it does?

I'm mainly a desktop user so I am not so tied to the Android app.

Thanks for your enthusiasm!
