Podcasts and the order of episodes (Playing in chronological order etc.)Replied by Deezer

Hiya guys. As other users have suggested, it would be fantastic if you could choose the order in which to play podcasts. The majority of people like to play podcasts in chronological order, especially if you’ve just found a new one to start listening to. It’s quite irritating to have to constantly go back to the app to manually select the next episode since the default order means you’re listening in reverse order. Please include this in a future update soon! It’s my only pet peeve about Deezer 😢 at the very very least, have an option to select podcast episodes using the ‘play next’ or ‘queue’ function. Thanks!

The Stream Deck is an invaluable tool for many creators, allowing for seamless control and management of our digital environments.The addition of a Deezer plugin would not only enhance the functionality of the Stream Deck but also provide Deezer with an opportunity to expand its presence within the content creator community. Hi Deezer, You guys have done wonderfully expanding song play list range from 2k songs to 5k songs! I begged and you guys delivered! Thank you! I feel my playlist are almost complete but need wiggle room for another 6k songs. Honestly feel 7k would nail it. 8K if its not to completed to program this be the dream! Please please increase to 7k or 8k!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!! 7k but better 8!!!

I have had two streaming device using bluos. I sampled every music streaming service for audiophiles and found Deezer to have the most advanced UI.However, there is so much more a user can do in the Deezer app than via bluos' implementation of your API, which does nothing except search for artists or albums. For example, Zone is a single pre chosen stream in the API, while in the app there are several.If it were possible to use my device directly from Deezer I would be okay with it, but they remain totally discrete.The future does seem to be streaming, making Deezer the API masters would not be hard, the bar is LOW.

O tener los albums de tus artistas en favoritos y se Ilena.es muy incómodo e imprescindible, ya que todas las demás aplicaciones lo tienen

You guys need to work on the platform. I canceled spotify and tried a number of apps before I landed on Deezer as the next best thing, but the more I use the platform the more I find that Spotify truly is the best music app. I canceled my Spotify subscription because I don’t want to support the people behind the company. However, I think about restarting my membership all the time due to it being the best platform. Deezer’s curated playlists are limited and not as well put together. New music releases are harder to find. New music should be easily accesible and truly highlighted. In the playlist function where there are suggested tracks you can’t listen to the whole song. There is only a 30 second preview. What good is that? I am not going to listen to 30 seconds of a new song and add it to my own curated playlists. I also find that building my playlists takes longer. It’s not as simple as spotify where you could literally drag and drop a song. Alot of my playlists are created at work as I listen to music throughout the day. But since it is less than seamless on Deezer, I can’t do that without truly paying attention to creating the playlist in the platform. The way the Explore page is organized does not make sense. The podcasts are very limited and the way there are organized don’t make sense. The Music Quiz? - Unsure what the thinking is behind thisI have even considered subscribing to spotify again briefly so I can create new playlists and then use another app to transfer the playlists to Deezer. I shouldn’t have to do that. Please make some changes. I want to enjoy this platform. It’s better than Apple, Tidal, Amazon Music, ect but still so far from the best.

HI, after years of resistance, I’m finally giving in to also using my music player as a podcast player, however, it seems like the feature doesn’t have basic functionality that most podcast apps do. It would be nice if i’m able to mark one or more episode of a podcast as played, so that they don’t get automatically played again in the future (unless I manually click play on it).This is particularly necessary because since I’m only now considering a switch, I’m “subscribing” to a lot of podcasts for which I’ve already listened to 99% of the episodes, and it would be helpful to flag those past episodes as played.

Stats.fm is far superior to last.fm. Deezer is on their roadmap, but they currently only support Spotify and are working on Apple Music.As part of your new brand, work with the small guy and help them bring Deezer to the Stats.fm family faster.There are two hurdles keeping me from adopting Deezer over Spotify (I think Deezer is better). 1. is stats.fm. 2nd is a Mac os client that supports all the features of the service I pay for……….I assume when Spotify finally releases Supremium it will plug the holes that I think makes Deezer better:I find Deezer better at recommendations and auto-playlists based on a song or artist. Flow is better than AI DJ. Deezer audio quality is noticeably better. Shaker is an amazing idea.

I’m switching from Spotify that has this and it’s so handy.Right now, to rewind or fast-forward by 30-sec increments you have to open the app. It would great to be able to do it when my phone’s locked (Pixel 8 user here), or through the Android widget on my home screen, or using the controls on my Jabra Elite 8 earbuds.

Hello, I've tried Deezer for a couple of months and it sounds amazing and the UI is great, but there are some things I'd like improved considering the price. Better song algorithmI'd like the algorithm to be refined, I know it probably won't be as good as Spotify but I really do believe and trust that it can be a lot better Swipe gesturesI honestly thought this was already a feature but unfortunately it's not please add the ability to swipe to add to queue, swipe to delete (WITH CONFIRMATION), tapping a song while there's a queue should confirm before playing and swiping the currently playing song to skip or go to previous. Gemini ExtensionI use android and Gemini is awesome, please add an extension so I can tell Gemini to play music, this is a requirement for me as I typically like to do things hands free. That's all, that's all I'm asking for I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and I expected to see these features in the next beta, I'm loving this app and I don't want to move just because of these basic features lacking.

I have tens of playlists with thousands of tracks in them, all made by myself. And I always listen to them and trying to clean them up as perfect as I can to get the right mood for all tracks in every playlist. But I can only edit my playlist from playlist screen (with list of all tracks in current playlist), not from track playing screen. So just imagine, how much time I need (while listening to a track, that I want to delete from current playlist) to found this track in playlist with more than 500 tracks and to delete it. So, dear developers, I ask you to add a feature in track playing screen options “delete track from playlist”. Huge , guys!

I want smoother podcast management on mobile and desktop (less urgent for desktop). Compared to Spotify, Deezer adds unnecessary steps and makes desktop podcast listening a pain. Here are the detailed features that would hugely improve my podcast management experience:"New Episodes" playlist access: Right now, it takes 3 taps to see all new episodes across my podcasts. Let me pin the "New Episodes" playlist to the home screen for instant access (or at least make it more easily and intuitively accessible). Download episodes easily: Currently, I have to open each podcast individually or use the "Latest Episodes" playlist (which only shows the most recent episode per podcast and where there is no visible download button—you have to do an extra tap to download). Let me download directly from the "New Episodes" list with a visible download button. "Downloaded Episodes" playlist access: Right now, it takes 3 taps to see my downloaded episodes. Let me pin the "Downloaded Episodes" playlist to the home screen for instant access (or at least make it more easily and intuitively accessible). Consistency across platforms: Make this work the same on mobile and desktop. Right now, desktop feels ignored for podcasts.

"Add to playlist" opens the popup "Select a playlist" but it doesn't indicate in which playlist the song is already in. It also doesn't let me add the song to multiple playlists.Current state: Change/Feature request:Please add an indicator next to playlists that shows which playlists already includes the song.And let us add the song to multiple playlists.Example:Here I can easily see by the green checkmark, that the song is in two playlists. And I can add the song to multiple other playlists if I want. Currently the little popup on deezer already tells me if the song is in certain playlist. Pretty straight forward, I would like to see a section for downloaded songs, outside of Deezer. Youtube music already has this and I think it's a neat feature because it's kind of annoying to either add every song manually to Deezer or to always switch to the music player on my phone. Maybe there could also be an easier way to add downloaded songs to the My MP3s section in Deezer.

So far, the only way to use MY collected song library is to upload them in Deezer via PC Deezer. OK. But can we have a feature to make this more easy to update ? Have a "lookup folder” that will be checked and new files added to “My MP3” on Deezer.ThanksI buy music from different sources on a regular basis since years, all stored in one giant Music folder (because of streaming services), that’s thousands of songs, impossible to check manually if every song as been transferred with success.

Improve Shaker - Great Concept! Poor execution.New

Just tried out Shaker last night for a music and dance party hosted on zoom, and there were quite a few things that I think could be improved here:Make it easily accessible. I had to find out about this by googling “collaborative playlists online” - at no point did I (after over a year of using Deezer both on desktop and mobile) know this was a feature. When I closed out the tab, I had to search it in google again because there’s no way I could find to access it from the main deezer page. Allow playing the playlist from Shaker in desktop mode. Allow playing the group mix from Shaker in desktop mode. Allow non-users to add songs! Especially as most people use Spotify, people aren’t going to make an account just to add songs to a playlist - anybody suggesting Deezer as a platform in a group of Spotify users will get outvoted simply due to this lacking feature. If non-users can add songs and experience the platform freely though, they may be enticed to join. The non-Deezer users I was able to convince to make accounts were pleasantly surprised by the availability of music Make songs in the shaker screen actual songs? Why on earth are they clickable pictures? You can’t add to playlist from there, you can’t favorite from there, you can’t do anything. It’s a very restrictive experience that feels clunky and claustrophobic. Improve the add tracks search function within Shaker - it’s also weirdly restrictive and won't show as many results, and you have to use precise language that the regular Deezer search does not require. e.g. searching Great concept! I’d love to see these changes made. A lot of manual work was required on my side last night due to the people who couldn’t add songs as non-users.

one of the features i severely miss from Spotify is the “private mode” where it doesn’t track anything you listen to while it’s on. it’s great for not messing up your algorithm’s recommendations if you need to use your account to play music you usually wouldn’t listen to. for me it was also great for listening to new music, because i could try out new stuff without worrying about it affecting my recommendations in case i didn’t like it. private mode is way more efficient than having to manually “exclude” songs and artists during or before trying out new music.i know this has been suggested before but those threads are years old. Deezer team, please consider adding this as soon as possible. Deezer is a good service but feels like it’s missing some important features
