Increase the favourites cache on the desktop appNew

It’s almost impossible to browse favourites on the desktop (and web) apps if you have more than a hundred favourites. This is because a given favourites page (e.g. Artists) only loads a small subset of favourites at once. If you want to browse the entire list you need to scroll, wait for more to load, scroll more, wait for more to load etc. For example, getting to my artists that starts with the letter Z takes me about 2 minutes. To make matters worse, as soon as I navigate to a different page, the app forgets the artists list and I have to go through this process again.This is an anti-user pattern that saves server costs at the expense of app utility. Maybe you can justify it on the web app, but the desktop app should cache these pages. I am currently exploring Deezer as an alternative to Spotify, but given this kind of app design I will not be making the switch.

Pause/start button on lyrics screenNot for now

Pause button should be available on lyric screen. Because for new songs we found some people turns the lyric page on and tries to learn the lyrics. But some parts of songs are hard to sing and we need to repeat it again and again but we are not able to pause the music. And it complicates the process. It would be awesome to have pause/continue button on lyrics screen.

Sync music room - Same / Real Time session listening with othersReplied by Deezer

It would be great to have a music room where people would listen to the music in real time in sync. Administrators would have the control of manipulating the songs and all users in that room would hear the audio, as in the AmpMe app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amp.android&hl=en

It would be really nice if it would be a vinyl player in the app / a widget with a vinyl so when you hear music or a podcast you have a little turning vinyl on your home screen/lock screen. Also some musicians have multiple vinyl designs for one album so maybe a feature that you can choose which one you want to see.

Making the equalizer better!New

I recently switched to Deezer and I can’t lie, I’m LOVING the app and the sound quality.I just feel like the equalizer is a bit restricted.It does get its job done, but being able to adjust more frequencies and make it more precise by adding how much we are boosting each frequency would be GREAT!☺️What I’m talking about is something like this:This is an app i used on my old phone, unfortunately not available in IOS and having an equalizer like this on Deezer would be so helpful😌.

Normalize by default everywhereNew

Every once in a while, I risk hearing damage when using Deezer on a new device. Not normalizing was fine when musicians still knew how to master their songs. But those days are long gone.

Don't Recommend - Not only for flowNew

I really like the Flow feature of Deezer which helps me find new artists and tracks.  It includes a nice feature called “Don’t Recommend” and the topic I am starting is why this feature isn’t on all parts of the app. I only use flow because of the Don’t Recommend and find it pointless to use any other parts of Deezer like all the curated playlists because I can’t tailor my interests and profile.  There is literally a database you can access of all your exclusions but for some reason this database can’t be used for parts of Deezer.

Albums sorting by yearIn discussion

Hi. It would sure be nice if you could sort albums by release date. Also, seeing albums in a “details” style view instead of thumbnails would certainly be helpful when looking through albums by artists with hundreds of releases. I recently tried to browse Ray Charles records but its quite clumsy. Thanks. Love the sound.

Deezer is freedom. So, y cant we just download the songs we like instead of whole cds? It may be easy 4 u to create this solution.

Option to disable the automatic background color changeLive

Guys....seriously, we have to talk about this last Android update. What. Tha. Hell. is that automatic background color change everytime I skip a song? It's such a enfuriating thing to have a white background striking your eyes at midnight when you just want to put some calm music in order to get ready to sleep. SERIOUSLY You need to make that coloured background optional! Give us the possibility to disable that, it's so annoying! THIS IS SERIOUS. Thank you.

I don't know if it's already been proposed by some other user, if so I apologize for the repetition. What I would like to suggest it's an improvement (mobile and desktop apps), in the sense that on the page of the song you are listening to, also could appear the names of your (multiple) playlists in which that song is already added (all of them), with direct link to each of those playlists. For example in the mobile application, and it is only an idea, by moving up the cover of the song that is playing (or touching it), you could see a text that said something like: "Also in your playlist: * playlist name 1 (and text linked to that playlist) * playlist name 2 (and text linked to that playlist) * playlist name 3 (and text linked to that playlist) ... " Many thanks

There should be a way where you can see how many views a song has globally as well as how many times you yourself have played a song long time ago when I used to use iTunes I could see that I play the song too much time, the only way that I know I've played a song a lot is whenever the end of the year favorites pops up. Add a language filter to podcasts/shows.At the moment this tab displays mostly podcasts based on your region you live in.As for me, I live in Belgium where we have two national languages Dutch and French, I live in the Dutch part and my French is not that good. But I almost only get French podcasts.  It would be nice if there was an options to choose a language.

Audio booksNew

Regarding audiobooks... Since the audiobook app was shut down, there is still no bookmarking function for audiobooks within the app. Marking a song or title in the audiobook with a heart is a poor option because the playlist continues afterwards and not the album or the audiobook. Please change. ❤️... And one or two color options for profiles wouldn't be a bad idea either.

It would be great to have the options to tag an artist/album with the opposite of “do not recommend” (ie. please recommend) to keep track of artists I want to listen to but haven't gotten around to yet, while also working their music into flows more naturally.

Ideas for an Even Better Deezer: Discord Integration, Gamer Features, Immersive Sound, and More!New

Hey Deezer community and Deezer team!My name is Raul Popescu (Kong), and I'm a huge Deezer fan. I've tried other platforms, but Deezer won me over with its exceptional audio quality, intuitive interface, and cool features. The live sound is fantastic!I'm writing today to share some ideas that I believe could take Deezer to the next level and make the music experience even better for everyone.Here are my suggestions: Discord Integration: It would be amazing if Deezer could be integrated with Discord, just like Spotify. The ability to show what we're listening to and join friends' listening sessions directly from Discord would be a huge plus for the social aspect of the platform. Gamers' Paradise: Features dedicated to gamers would be a hit! I'm thinking of: PC Game Integration: Synchronizing playlists with the game's atmosphere or playing custom sounds based on in-game events would be a unique experience. Top-Tier Immersive Sound: Implementing advanced audio technologies like Dolby Atmos, spatial audio, and 3D sound would create a truly immersive audio experience. It would be ideal if these features were available, as much as possible, in the free version as well. Complete Artist Profiles: Displaying the album to which the currently playing song belongs. Listing all artists who contributed to the song and album (full credits!). Easy access to each artist's profile and their entire discography. Direct navigation to the album of the currently playing song and to other albums by the same artist. Smart Playlists: More accurate automatic recommendations based on our tastes. Creating playlists using suggestions/prompts. It would be great if these features were also available in the free version. Deezer Free for Everyone: Expanding access to the free Deezer plan in all countries, including Romania. I believe everyone should be able to enjoy high-quality music, even without a paid subscription. The Power of AI with Gemini: A Deezer extension for Google's Gemini AI, similar to Spotify's, would be revolutionary! Imagine creating playlists, playing songs, and searching for music by lyrics, genre, or artist, all through voice commands to Gemini. Speaking of searching by lyrics, it would be helpful to improve this feature in the mobile app, allowing searches with longer text fragments. My Experience with the Beta Version:I tested the Beta version and encountered a few minor bugs and crashes, but I'm confident that the technical team will fix them quickly.In conversation with Melodie, the Deezer virtual agent:I discussed the availability of Deezer Free and the search function with Melodie. I also opened two support tickets (IDs: 7887799 and 7887813) to clarify certain aspects. I look forward to their responses!Conclusion:I'm very excited about Deezer's future! I hope these suggestions are helpful and contribute to making Deezer an even better platform. Keep up the great work!And guess what?! We've already received a response from the Deezer Team! Deezer Desktop app does not resume radio stations properlyNew

It would be great if the (Windows 11) Deezer Desktop app resumes radio stations on accurate (live) broadcasting time.Scenario: while listening to radio stations via the Deezer Desktop app and your pc turns to sleep or you’ve hit pause, the app stops playing (of course). After a while you want to listen to the same radio station again and you hit play. The app then continues with the cached stream and stops after a short time when the cached stream reached the end.Expected: the app resumes the radio station at the time of broadcasting (current time) and not continue with the cached stream (which does not make sense).Also, when you pause (using the Windows pause button), the player does not really stop. You need to hit play again and force click on the stop button and play button in the player of the Deezer Desktop app. That forces the stream to end and continue with the actual time of broadcasting.For artist and album music, the player works as expected, but for radio stations the player does not work intuitive.

A tool to Request Songs / LicensesNew

Current Issue with Deezer’s Song/Artist Request SystemThe existing song/artist request feature (via https://support.deezer.com/hc/de/requests/new) is largely ineffective. Users can submit requests, but the responses often feel dismissive (e.g., Messages which basicly boil down to  “What do you expect us to do?”). For example, I’ve requested a specific band for over 5 years (including on older accounts), but there’s no way to track if/when Deezer secures streaming rights for it—unlike competitors like Spotify, YouTube Music, or Amazon Music,and even Napster the probably worst which already offer the band’s catalog in Germany.Proposed Solution: A Transparent Request-Tracking ToolCreate a dedicated tool to submit and monitor music licensing requests. Key features: Input Options Preferred: Deezer URL (e.g., https://deezer.page.link/nPZf7itKkzerkHie7, a track unavailable in Germany). If no URL: Artist name, label (optional), and example albums (to avoid ambiguity). Status Tracking Display real-time updates (e.g., “ASP – Song Fluchtversuch: Pending”). Update to “Available” once rights are secured, with region-specific visibility. Notifications Email alerts when requested content becomes accessible on Deezer. Example Workflow User submits a request for ASP’s Fluchtversuch via the tool. Tool confirms the song is unavailable in Germany but logs the request. When Deezer acquires licensing rights, the status changes to “Available,” and the user receives an automated email. Benefits Transparent communication for users. Reduced frustration from unanswered requests. Incentive for Deezer to address licensing gaps (users can see progress).

Why is the search function not available on downloaded music anymore when offline on IPhone app? Please reinstate it’s a key feature to look for music when you have many downloads.
