Shuffle Option for Playlists.

Hi @annarbor so sorry for the very late reply. We are slowly working our way through this forum now.
After reading your discussion with Anja I wanted to ask what exactly you mean.

Do you mean a shuffle feature that shuffles one single playlist? If so we do have that. Just go to any playlist and you will see a big blue button at the beginning of the playlist. Tapping that button will shuffle the whole playlist.

Or do you mea something that shuffles your whole collection of music? Recently we have implemented the feature called "Shuffle my music" which you can see under "My Music".

Should you have something completely different in mind, apologies, and please explain in more detail here so other members of the community can better understand what you mean 😉 I hope this helps and sorry again for the late late reply!

thanks. yes, i was referring to my entire collection or library of music, not just a playlist that i create. for example, on napster, as i may have already discussed, i can shuffle my entire 6,000+ "library" of songs. and my napster subscription happens to expire in a week, and they don't plan on offering lossless/high-res audio quality options so, well, if i can shuffle my library, then maybe i'll soon give deezer another try. thanks again.

As @Flo.Deezer has already mentioned, theoretically you can shuffle your library in the "My Music" section with a blue play button. The problem with that is that it actually does not shuffle your whole library, but only a small part of it and repeats this small part instead of jumping through all of your songs. The same happens with Flow, by the way, and has been the subject of many related threads already. I don't know if this has been fixed lately, as I did not use Shuffle My Music or Flow anymore because of that problem. It might have to do with the existing limit of 1,000 or 2,000 tracks per playlist on Deezer.

Another solution would be playlist folders like on Spotify where you can put all your playlists in one main folder and play that folder in shuffle mode. I think there is a related idea already on this forum.
