System tray issueNew

Minimizing to the system tray without an option to close instead, is extremely annoying. It’s 2025, every other app I own supports this (and has for literal decades). Pretty sure an unpaid intern with no experience can get this done. Hire me for $1 and I’ll volunteer to do it for you. I’m not joking. Please I’m begging you. I’ll literally hit “Create” to submit this topic while on my knees. I love Deezer and want you to succeed and this is such low-hanging fruit. Thanks!

This feature would improve navigation by allowing users to quickly access the full album with a single tap. It enhances the listening experience, making it easier to explore more tracks from the same album without extra steps. This functionality is already common in other music apps and would be a valuable addition to Deezer’s interface.

Sometimes I add a lot of songs from different artists but I can't easily create a playlist based on that. Sometimes I wanna hear through all albums or most of them from a particular artist and I don't want to manually add all albums again if I want to listen to this collection of songs again. If the only way to create a playlist is adding manually albums or tracks someone needs to start doing it intentionally. Creating a playlist based on queue simplifies a lot the process of creating playlists, and makes it possible even if i just started listening to something and I liked the result. I understand that this is an important creative part of Deezer and integrates the community. So please improve the way we create playlists!

I’ve been using Deezer on BMW OS 9 (native app). Deezer Version 3.0.0.1, BMW OS version 11/2025.50Some little quirks that I’ve noticed that I’d love to be reviewed/updated:Limited number of Flow options - for example; Dance/EDM flow is not listed in the options Last Played often doesn’t update or sync. For example; if listening on my iPhone or Mac then I go for a drive, the BMW App doesn’t update what I was last listening to so I can resume the playlist etc. also happens when picking a playlist in the BMW app. Recents don’t update. Slow interface (at times): In optimum conditions, picking a playlist sometimes takes a several seconds to load - by contrast, Spotify BMW app loads music almost instantly. More options to quickly select music: Add options like Home, Explore, Favourites that replicate the iOS and Mac experience - makes it more consistent and easier to use when driving to find music I like. Add Mixes inspired by or Artist Radio/Mixes options like the Mobile App. Overall, I do enjoy Deezer, and as I prefer to use BMW Native over CarPlay, I’d love the app to get some more love to keep it fresh.

A dedicated Deezer app for Roku would be amazing, please!I can imagine it's difficult to provide app support for a variety of streaming players available globally, however, Roku is the number one streaming player sold by volume in the Americas for the past 6 years (over Chromecast, Amazons fire stick, and Apple TV), and has over 90 million streaming households globally making it a logical priority platform to develop for.I'm not knowledgeable as to what technical considerations the development team would have when considering Roku compatibility, but I believe it would be worth it. For comparison, Jellyfin is a volunteer built media system that has a beautiful and simple app experience for Roku. I'd like a similar, simple experience with my streaming music service of choice. Plus your purple brand aesthetics would complement each other 😁Thanks for the consideration!

This message needs to be removed permanently from the app. In my case Deezer works correctly and most likely on everyone else's computer. None of the other music apps that I know of have this type of message pop up.

Deezer podcasts: add episodes to a playlist/queue listReplied by Deezer

Just started "Serial" which is approx 30 episodes plus (each being over 50 mins each) Every time I go to play I've got to:- remember myself where I'm up to in an episode (not the end of the world as you can find it with the search bar) REMEMBER WHICH EPISODE I'm on when I remember it , play it.. find where I'm up to, and then re-order the queue as it doesn't naturally play them in episode order! PLEASE allow us to add podcasts episodes to a playlist it would help as I could remove each episode when I'm done with it and reorder so I don't have to faff about every time I go to listen to it. Not perfect but a fix to make it more usable. I know the developers have a million things to do but Deezer keeps pushing Podcasts via social media etc when it's so bad to use.... 😞 😞

It would be good to have the ability to browse and listen without having an effect on FLOW. Since the Flow algorithm is said to "work in real time" and is affected by every track played, I would like to be able to listen without Flow listening too. So I can go on a discovery binge, or look up an unknown artist, or perhaps play music outside my normal selection for a party, etc etc. Google music's "I'm Feeling lucky" function became unusable once contaminated with my son's nursery ryhmes and wiggles playlists. Having made the move to Deezer I'm playing it safe by searching via youtube and Spotify - Spotify having "Private session" already in place.

Hello, i recently started using Deezer instead of Spotify for ethical reasons and, so far, the only thing i really miss about Spotify is Jam sessions. In a long distance relationship or for parties it is mega useful. I am not considering Shaker as an alternative, it is a totally different feature. I heard that Deezer is recommending it as a replacement but it is really not. It would be a killer feature for Deezer because it is the only thing that is making me consider going back to spotify, and some friends of mine already have. Thanks a lot for reading :)

Hi! On the music social media app, Airbuds, several other music platforms (such as spotify and apple music), send live API updates to Airbuds. This allows users to see what their friends are actively listening to and react to it. It also will show each individual stream of a song, rather than an entire 2 hour looping session being condensed into one play!! Deezer is nooot compatible with Airbuds in the ways that other streaming services are, and it really affects the usability of a social app like this.

Double Standard in Recommendation and Search Algorithms: Popular vs. Niche ArtistsNew

Hello everyone,As a user who actively seeks out new music and values experiencing it in high-fidelity (Hi-Fi), I rely on accurate discovery tools. I frequently use YouTube for music discovery because its recommendation algorithm is highly precise and tailored. When I find a track I want to analyze or enjoy in lossless quality, I switch to Deezer. However, this is exactly where I encounter a deeply frustrating logical flaw in Deezer's algorithm.I am facing two fundamental issues:1. Imbalance in the Recommendation System: If I listen to a mainstream or highly popular artist for merely 20-30 seconds (and even skip it), Deezer immediately pushes this artist to my "Recommended" section on the home screen. Conversely, when I discover a new artist in a more specific genre, listen to their track completely 2-3 times in a row, and explicitly hit the "Like" button, they never appear on my home screen. The algorithm seems heavily weighted toward generic popularity metrics rather than my actual interaction data (likes, playtime, and repetition).2. Inflexible Search Engine: This bias also extends to the search functionality. When I try to search for these liked but less mainstream artists, the system fails to suggest the artist or track until I type the name out exactly, letter by letter. While typing just a few letters is enough for popular names, demanding an exact string match for alternative artists severely degrades the user experience.A platform offering Hi-Fi audio shouldn't sacrifice a listener's personal, nuanced preferences to mainstream popularity algorithms. The "Like" button and actual listening history must carry more weight than an artist's current chart status.Are there any planned algorithm updates that will prioritize genuine user interaction data over generic popularity?

The only way to quickly go to the album of the current song, is by pressing the 3 dots up top and then “album page”. Please make it so you can just click the album name at the bottom, just as you can click the artist name at the bottom to go to the artist page.

Par ex, je crée une playlist Danse et j'aimerais pouvoir écrire (visible uniquement dans la playlist) le type de danse à côté (salsa, rumba, etc). Merci de faire remonter aux développeurs. As title says.. Could you not add an option to remove song from playlist, sometimes I accidentally add to wrong ones due to my cerebral palsy.. And then gets embarrassing when a random tune comes on, in the wrong playlist.. But to remove it, you have to go all the way through the actual playlist to find it first! Would an option of remove from playlist be any good.. There's 3 playlist of mine now I don't want to play anymore as accidently added whole albums to them.. 🤦‍♂️

favourite tracks are different across devicesNew

when i add tracks to my favourites list on my computer (in the browser or on the windows desktop app), they don’t show up in that position on my android phone. the screenshots below are taken at the same time, the playlist, in both cases, is sorted to show recent additions on top. as you can see, the songs by claud and night tapes are missing on my phone even though i’ve added them in between “poligon” and “dirty vibe” on my computer. i have added the songs hours ago. all devices have an internet connection. my favourites list looks the same across browser and desktop app but different on my phone.i have noticed that this only happens with tracks which had been added to the favourites before but which i removed, then readded. still: the playlists should be in sync across devices. this is very annoying.desktop appandroid

Hello Deezer team! This is my first message ever to give some ideas but I've been on deezer ever since I had a phone (which was a long time ago) so I'd love to give this idea I just had. So here's my idea:As someone that is a big fan of rock –and even in pop some songs are this way– there's a lot of songs that ends with the start of the next song on the albums as someone does I usually listen to my music on shuffle. However the problem is I cannot enjoy the starter songs or interludes that get into their next songs on shuffle since the next is never the right song. So my idea would be to put songs that go together always next to each other or make like a button to make it stop if really someone doesn't went to but I don't really get how anyone would be against it. As an example, as a big fan of Pierce the Veil it is impossible for me to listen to "May these noises startle you in your sleep" because the next song is never the right one. Of course you would think "why not just listening to the album if you want them next to each other" but thing is I also want to listen to some other songs after. Anyway I hope you understand my struggle and might think about that idea. Thank you for your consideration, thank you for staying human and not out any AI in an app that is for human artists. Even to "help find the music that is kind of the same" you guys already do it you do not need ai to do it. Please stay the way you are.Bye bye !

Hi Deezer people! Music is a very personal thing and we all have our own tastes and some of us are more discerning than others. It would be great if we could influence what appears on the Deezer Home page. Maybe voting buttons which could help tailor the feed to our profiles. Some options might include: This is the best!! Like Indifferent Do Not Like Please Never Show Me This Artist! As an example I would really like to remove the above Ed Sheeran\Beyonce thing from showing up every time I open Deezer. Cheers!

Library page sorting customization lost after data clearing.New

I’m using the Android app.I usually download music or podcasts with Wifi-access, and then listen in offline mode when outside, to save data. Periodically I want to clear the data from my phone to save storage space. Apparently this also resets my sorting customization in the Library page. It’s not a big thing, but seems unnecessary and annoying.Would be nice if clearing the downloaded music/podcasts from my phone would not reset Library page sorting also.
