Volume normalization

But Seat's are part of the VW group and our Android integration with them isn't as reliable as we hoped for. We're working towards a new Google/Android car integration to hopefully fix those issues. It'll take some time but we'll be certainly updating the community with its progress.

How do you connect your phone to the car? Do you open the app after linking it up?

Not sure, actually. I mostly let Android decide which apps to stop, and the (Samsung Galaxy A3 2017) task switcher often shows lots of apps. (Often much more than 20 I think, but don’t pay much attention). So I assume this is not a list of running apps, just most recenty used. The list is also restored after reboot, which supports my assumption.

So while I often switch to Deezer after linking to the car Bluetooth, I don’t know whether that counts as opening the app after linking.

What I do close quite often is the Deezer notification. That does not remove the task switcher entry. But if that stops the app, then I have probably often started the app after linking.

As you mention specific car systems (please see more info here), I just wanted to clarify that Deezer would prefer to work on a more wide and compatible way to integrate with cars, like Android Auto. That way our users have more opportunities to integrate their cars if the tech is available on more models 

I hated Android Auto’s album list and quickly gave up on it. But if chances are that it has better volume uniformity, I should give it another chance.

When streaming deezer in my van (2019 VW transporter) the volume always decreases for the following song. If I pause a song and restart the volume bumps back up. If I skip songs the volume stays at a constant however if I play an album all the way through the first song is normal volume and then all following songs are very quiet. I can turn the volume up, however if I then end up skipping a track I get deafened as it returns to original volume. I have tried altering all settings in the stereo and within deezer but nothing seems to rectify it??

Thanks, I had already tried the volume normalization setting. It seems to be the same issue as gngg mentioned, and as his car is a Seat and mine is a vw, I assume it is a problem with connecting to a the VAG system. I had tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling to make sure it is updated. I tried turning off speed dependent volume adjusting. The only thing that seems to keep volume at a constant is skipping to the next track just as the current track is about to end. If I allow it to just play through to the following track it always gets quieter.???

Hi, I have started using Deezer few days ago and I noticed that volume normalization on Windows 10 app (downloaded from Microsoft store) doesn't work. Some tunes are very loud compared to others. When I go to Windows Advanced Sound Configuration -> Enhancements and check "Loudness Equalization" it sounds ok. It should work the same inside Deezer but it doesn't.
