Remote control music on another device / Device discovery

Hi Pia. 

Please make this highest priority at Deezer. This is the only reason why I haven’t made the switch to Deezer yet from Spotify. This is a dealbreaking feature - I would instantly subscribe to the highest tier subscribtion (HiFi) if there would be the exact same feature as Spotify Connect integrated in Deezer. 

I love the lyrics feature, I love Deezer. But without the connect feature its useless for me. It destroys the entire user experience. If I come home with spotify - music flawlessly goes over to my SONOS device no hickups, restarts of songs nothing. It just works and is great. This has to be in Deezer. It surely would make many people switch - as Deezer otherwise is actually really great and can easily compete with Spotify (especially with the Lyrics and HiFi Features) but without the flawless conntect integreation it is not.

Just started my premium hifi trial, sad to find out this is feature is not available. Hopefully the engineers can sort it out before the trial ends, otherwise this might be a dealbreaker :(

When Pia says “our developers had been working on it for several months”, i understand that it means music remote control on other device. My question is, did they do anything? don’t take it as a bad intention (no Billie Eilish style), what i would like to know is if they found a way to do with the tech-tools  did/do they had/have? why did they stop? because there weren’t enough resources? to focus on increasing favorite limit? do you consider queue-sync as a music remote control? are you also, maybe ,thinking the way of making it different from competition?

Thank you for your honest feedback. This isn't currently being developed after our new Chromecast integration was released. Right now our teams are fixing our existing problems and working on a few other projects that together with this one, have been a priority. I hope we have more of an update in the next couple of months to give you a better idea of where we're going 

Hi. Is there an update on this. To be able to play deezer using deezer app when connected with Bluesound streaming box…. I am planning to buy a high end WiFi speaker but it seems the only way way to get lossless is using the speaker app and apparently all speaker apps are terrible UX... 

when can we expect deezer to develop Spotify connect type functionality.

Already a MAJOR + compared to Spotify! Me (and many more subscribers) have been waiting for an HIFI option “over there” for the last 3-4 years without any feedback from their team!

Now i decided to give Deezer a try but the lack of “remote”/”connect” feature is to big of a deal breaker for me. On the other hand Deezer have better sound quality.

I guess one can never be satisfied.. Hope for some good news regarding this in a near future!

Hey @Rudi i am new on deezer. I was using Spotify for four years and i was happy actually. But i give a try to Deezer and my first impression is great. Deezer is more user friendly for me. I liked it very much but that remote control feature is really great on Spotify. While i am at work i am listening music on my desktop and change music on my mobile device. While eating dinner in kitchen i am listening music on my smart tv and change music on my mobile device. I think the only missing feature on Deezer is that. I searched on topic and you are very friendly. You can make it for users like us. Thanks for your and software devolopers effort. Thanks.
