Remote control music on another device / Device discovery

Hi! First of all, I’ve used Spotify Premium for more than a couple of years (so as many other users), but recently I’ve decided to give Deezer a go. It works great, I dig the interface more, flow is getting better and better with understanding my taste and even the playlists are getting bettter.

However, one key feature that Deezer is missing is remote control: at least the queues are synchronized, but I would love to control the music playing on my laptop or TV using my phone. It’s one of the key features that I used with Spotify, and it is the factor that I’m considering the most when thinking about getting back to them. I really want to love Deezer, but missing such an important feature is such a killer, both for me and many other users.

Just recently subscribed to a Deezer account since I got me a really nice Ruark R5 and I wanted to enjoy it with good quality streaming service : hence Deezer for the HiFi.

However, navigating trough the music from the Ruark is a pain in wherever you want and using the bluetooth is...what it is.

The Ruark, such as many other device, has the Spotify Connect feature and I am really considering changing just to have this remote control. But I don’t want to…

Wish you’ll get this feature soon enough not to loose your 99%-satisfied users since so many people seem to be longing for it !

Awesome idea, should have already been included by now as Deezer allows casting with chromecast.

Context: +5 years Deezer user across web (still no linux app  ), mobile and chromecast.

User perspective:  Spotify-Connect kind like feature must be a MUST. If you need another reason,  every single Deezer evangelization try to my friends/family/colleague are declined because of a missing “Spotify-Connect” feature.

Biz perspective: At least add this feature for a sake of profits or leads.

Just in case, i’m in love with Deezer...

Yeah this. I can stream to xbox while playing and control from phone. Gooood. 

Just realized that there is no way to remotely control my playback device (i.e. PC) via deezer smartphone app. So deezer is completely off my list now. Won’t sign a payed account and stay with Spotify instead. That’s a shame, cause I was keen on HiFi and lyrics, but convenience is more important in that case.

Is better to write here because they created this forum to give suggestions,even problems. With social networks you can know about new interviews with singers (Deezer sessions), new features, new launchments, and get support if you have problems. But are not thought for ideas.
