Remember last position/track or album played (wherever left off)

It's a basic fonctionnality. It's a shame that we can't have that !

Currently, every time I log in to Deezer I see "What Lovers Do · Maroon 5".
In my opinion, the best option would be to remember the last song that was played before closing the app. That's how Spotify and Tidal work and it's a handy feature because I can resume playing whatever I was listening to yesterday. Searching for the album that was last played every single time I restart the app is annoying.

why not have an option to restart from the last position when opening (resume where left off as others call it)? I like podcasts but if I’m listening to one and I have to close the app it can take ages to find the place I was last at. Quite a few people mention it in the reviews.

when I open my browser and open Deezer, I always see Ed Sheeran as a song ready to play. I never listen to Ed Sheeran, so not sure from where it gets it. It would be great if the song that is ready to play is the last song I listened to last time I used Deezer. Currently with Ed Sheeran ready to play, I could accidentally press play and pollute my hearing history and probably Flow recommendations.

Hi @Rudi, thanks for pointing me here. The Ed Sheeran's song is the default song for me when I listen through web. I open my browser, go to Deezer (and log in) and it's there at the bottom in the player ready to play.

Can you open the queue and go to the bottom of it? There should be a button to deactivate automated recommendations.

Need this. Whether it remembers the last track played per device or across platforms, but in some form. I'm loving Deezer overall, and on mobile it's not a huge problem, and the app saves state unless actively closed anyway. But I can't just jump in the car and play music - I have to select a playlist every time. No other streaming app has this issue.
