I'm finding the Deezer "Plug in" to my Sonos ap difficult to use. I don't appear to be able to find new things and play them from there. I also can't find them in the normal Deezer app and "send" them to sonos. I have to find them in Deezer, set them as favourite, then go in to Sonos to play them. This is unwieldly. It also appears that you can not mark a "Mix" as a favourite meaning I can't play a mix through my Sonos. Any help available??
I have been a Spotify user since they were exclusively in Sweden, but thought it was time for a change.

So let it expire, and now signed up for a Deezer premium trial.



I had not expected this to be an issue.. I clearly took the ability to play directly on Sonos for granted.

Now the question is: Is this something Deezer will do within a reasonable timeframe ??



Using the Sonos App for musicbrowsing, is just not an option I can accept 😃
This topic is on the forums since years. And, they are developing this feature since at leat one year ...

I don't think we will have this feature one day. I don't know why. Is it at deezer side ? At Sonos side ?

So, you will have to continue to sing songs without the lyrics (not available on sonos), without the description of the artist or the album (not available on sonos), without the possibility to mark a song as favourite (not available on sonos), without ...

Nevertheless. Merry Christmas and see you in 2020 to "update" this topic.
So the assumption is that Deezer consider Sonos homes to be on Spotify.



If you like to sit in your living room and explore new playlists, browse artists or get lost in forgotten tracks of your life.. and listen to it all on your Sonos speakers, then Deezer do not consider you part of their customerbase.



I can recommend to use Spotify, it plays directly on your Sonos.

Better search and better usability will be your pleasant surprises.



Anyway, I will give Deezer a few more months, and if I keep being annoyed, I'm sure Spotify will accept me in again.

I bought a Sonos for my wife’s Christmas. Deezer works - sort of. The interface is terrible! You can’t find your music! Only frustration! Wish I didn’t buy it and can’t believe Deezer has been working on a solution for over 9 months! Should I switch to Spotify?? I guess, yes.
I want to add my voice to this too. I've been frustrated with the fact that I have to use the Sonos app to play music from my Deezer subscription and that I cannot use my personal playlist from Deezer in the Sonos app.



Are your developers really working on a solution?



As time goes on I will be more and more tempted to give other music service a try...
I'll add my support for this feature or infact any update to the Deezer app within SONOS.



I love SONOS and Deezer, but if there is no update as to a timeline to get these updated Deezer features, I will sadly, have to look at other Music options outside of Deezer.



My investment in Sonos is significantly more than a lifetime subscription to Deezer, so guess what will have to change.



Please help your subscribers with Sonos to improve the situation.

I have a feeling this is not going to happen. I have been with Deezer for years. I also have multirole Sonos and have to say that the day is coming that I finally unsubscribe my Deezer account and move to a competitor that can function with Sonos via their own app. If this was going to happen Deezer would have made more positive replies in this feed.
Like pretty much everyone else here, this is becoming a bit of a deal breaker for me. When I get home from work, it'd be fantastic to be able to continue listening to what's been in my ears on my sonos, without having to stop deezer, find the music on sonos and start again. It's also painful using deezer in the sonos app.



Can mods be truthful with this? If it's coming, when? If not, why not? I'm about a month off dumping deezer for something else. Lack of answers also shows contempt for your users, which isn't good.
I have recently resubscribed to Deezer for the lossless audio available on Sonos. Anyone who uses Deezer to play audio on Sonos immediately realizes how tedious and inefficient the integration is. Compared to Spotify, where you can direct music directly to Sonos from the Spotify app, even finding and playing one album will take many times as long--if it can even be done. You guys need to fix this or I'll be back with Spotify when my subscription proud is over
Same problem! To play Deezer with my Sonos is a nightmare and actually discouraging to use it [Sonos].

I'm not sure who have the problem integration, Deezer or Sonos? I will belive is Sonos. In Deezer to find a album is the My Album List is a breeze. With Sonos sucks! Why is not possible to see the list as last played, alphabetic, etc? I hate Sonos app!!!

When will we be able to use Sonos thru the Deezer App just like you can do with Spotify and Pandora? The Deezer App is way better than the Sonos App.

Thank you for your input. I've moved your comment here so that you can support an existing idea. We're working on this, not specifically to Sonos, but to different devices including Sonos. Stay tuned!
I'd like to stress the importance of this idea. I am trialling Deezer at the moment having used Spotify for the last couple of years. Controlling Sonos from the Deezer app would mean I stick with Deezer and don't go back to Spotify; simple as that. It would be helpful to have a timeline on this if possible. If not, I may drift away. Thanks.

Me too. I prefer Deezer to Spotify but the inability to search within my saved albums from the Sonos app (possible within the Deezer app and really, really important if you listen to classical music where there are many recordings of the same work) is killing the experience for me.



Please give us an indication of whether this is going to happen and when.

Thanks for the input and support, guys. We're unable to give you a specific date but I can assure you that we're working on this one. We've released our synchronised queue-lists recently, which was the first stage of a big process. And that ends with more control from our app. As soon as we get an update about this suggestion, we'll let you know.

+1 to adding connect capability to the ios app a la Spotify to allow direct play to Sonos speaker without airplay.  I think the Deezer implementation in Sonos iOS is poor and from the Deezer app much nicer. Spotify app does it well but no sound quality like Deezer. I have play 3 which are non airplay 2. 
from what I read it’s been a long wait!

Same thing for me. I want to be able to play my deezer music directly to sonos. I am tired of waiting for something that is not coming. I just subscribed the the free premium account on spotify to try and see if it works better from there. If it does, then bye bye Deezer.

Adding my voice to the request here. We have the family subscription and love the extent of the music library. However,  seamless integration to streaming devices like Sonos are vital to get best use of the service. Spotify seem to be better at partnering. Please catch-up as we want to stay with Deezer but not at a disadvantage. David.

@Rudi can you clarify what the problem with the integration is/was? 
As Spotify has done it some time ago, it can’t be that difficult, can it be?
Or is it maybe a political/financial thing?
Two years is a quite long time for such a deal breaking feature in the tech world.

Would like to switch to Deezer, but not without the possibility of casting music to Sonos directly from the app as Spotify does :)

Our integration currently has a few major bugs. By using Google's new CAF protocol, we'll be able to provide a more robust integration. It's more of an upgrade :thumbsup_tone2:


also when i play deezer on sonos app i cant go to mid song  i can only skip the whole song. please make it happen
