Like/Favorite/Heart button on lock screen - Deezer mobile app

An essential feature which was requested 7 years ago and is present on all alternative music apps. Still not implemented?

Not really thinking of staying on this platform thinking I have to unlock my phone each time I want to like a song.

Kinda crazy that this hasn’t been added re-subbed to see how every thing compares with spotify and this lack leaves a bad taste… really wanna make deezer work but this hurts 

Is there an update on this? I want to switch from Spotify to a service that offers at least CD quality, and I'm currently comparing Deezer, Tidal, and Qobuz. Deezer would actually be my favorite due to its features, but the absence of a 'like' button on the lock screen immediately struck me. One would think that prominently placing this button would be an essential feature for a service that uses my music taste as a basis for recommendations...

Time to add this people, I’m sure you’re getting new subscribers coming from killer AI driven drones investor’s app Spotify.

Make it easier for us.

How is this still not a feature when everyone else has it implemented now but Deezer. This is the only thing holding me back from subscribing to Deezer.

I’m starting to wonder if maybe Deezer isn’t implementing this feature as a security measure to prevent unauthorized users from messing with people’s account through a locked phone🤔. It would certainly explain the 8 year lag in implementation. An account rollback feature that’s locked behind a login screen could help mitigate the concerns if it happens to be a security issue.

I just feel like the button itself is so convenient that it’s worth the extra consideration, but that’s probably just me.

I think that at least with the iPhones with FaceID, you can be authenticated without leaving the lock screen. So I guess it would be possible to only show/activate the “like” button on the lock screen when the user has already been identified by the phone.
Not sure if something similar is possible with Android phones….
