Enable Elite/HiFi on Squeezebox

Hi,

It is sad to see that after 2 years of exchanging messages from customers' insastification the Deezer has only made excuses and tied the customers with promises of a future implementation!

After some time as premium user today I switched to hifi...to my amazement I repair this service is not available in my squeezebox! What? This cannot be true…

Conclusion...as the Deezer will not change because of me, I only have one solution left, change!

I too hope you can integrate Deezer HiFi streaming to Logitech media server in the future. 

With LMS 8.0 we can now merge our local library with our streaming library through "Online music integration service" plugin, which is just great. 

I'll go with Qobuz flac stream for now.

Wow, what a monumental letdown. I upgraded my Premium subs to HiFi today and within an hour, literally, went back to Premium when I realised that I won’t be able to utilise the HiFi subscription on my Logitech Media Server ecosystem.

It is nothing short of shocking; truly unbelievable that Deezer refuses to support probably the oldest community of their subscribers relying on set-top dedicated streamers.

Agree with the posts above.  With the revised pricing on the hifi subscription tier, it would make good business sense to “expand the subscriber base” by providing access to hifi on as many platforms as possible.  Now that many of us will be working from home offices, or are at least spending more time at home, for the foreseeable future, I’d love to have the option of a hifi subscription on LMS.

I joined Deezer the moment Spotify stopped official support of LMS/Squeezebox. Been happy since but like many here, I find the lack of HiFi support on LMS disconcerting. Aside from alienating a dedicated portion of your subscribers, you're potentially signaling that you don't intend to support Deezer on LMS moving forward. And that's sad.

If this is what you think of the Squeezebox community, then I'll have to reconsider my Deezer subscription and hand that money over to one of your competitors.
