Enable Elite/HiFi on Squeezebox

10's of thousands of audiophile users use various Squeezebox/LMS solutions to stream high files files/Tidal/Qubuz to hifi systems.
Deezer is already available as a Squeezebox plugin but sadly, hifi quality is not yet enabled.
I switched from Tidal Hifi back to Deezer as I assumed that hifi quality would be available on my Squeezebox solution, but sadly that was not the case.

When will Deezer Hifi become available on Squeezebox?

      Really sorry to hear that. But thank you for being honest.

      We're working on a new cast integration - perhaps that will offer you a HiFi alternative. Once I've got more updates, I'll be sharing with the community.

          Is this the post that pushed Deezer HiFi integration on Logitech Media Server over the developer hurdle?

            I hope so - this thread has been highs and lows of Deezer are, Deezer aren't ... would be nice if they could make the small effort to extend their current LMS integration to include HIFI. I've got the standard family account and listen to my squeezebox a lot, so no way I'd upgrade to HIFI unless its LMS compatible

              We take all of our community feedback to developers, product managers and other teams at Deezer @SR_250 :relaxed:

              I'm happy to say that mostly since last year, our users here are much more engaged with the development of our service. There's still a long way to go, but we want to keep this up. Thank you for your support :thumbsup_tone2:

                    I think more will follow unless Deezer get their skates on. Does Tidal allows hifi/flac through the squeezebox? I'd read something about ickstream and Tidal, but saw that ickstream had shut down. Is there another way of getting flac on Tidal through the squeezebox?  Any details would be appreciated, please.                     Thank you for your honesty. It's always sad to hear that - I'm sorry we don't have a feature you were hoping for.
