Enable Elite/HiFi on Squeezebox

10's of thousands of audiophile users use various Squeezebox/LMS solutions to stream high files files/Tidal/Qubuz to hifi systems.
Deezer is already available as a Squeezebox plugin but sadly, hifi quality is not yet enabled.
I switched from Tidal Hifi back to Deezer as I assumed that hifi quality would be available on my Squeezebox solution, but sadly that was not the case.

When will Deezer Hifi become available on Squeezebox?

hey guys. unfortunately ickstream no longer works with lms. I know there were a lot of users using deezer Hifi via lms, a lot more than 14. I am going to send this thread to everyone to see if they will vote for it. thanks.

Hi Rudi. How many more votes do you need to seriously consider this? Ickstream is now dead as of end of Q1 2019 and many users were using Ickstream to accomplish this. I know Tidal does do Hifi with Logitech Media Server/Squeezebox. I've asked people to vote but the forums for squeezebox/LMS really only get used when someone has an issue -- these types of things are a set it and leave it type of service, thus I know there are many who would like this functionality.

As a frequent Deezer user I vote for an update of the Deezer application for Logitech Media Server (LMS) / Squeezebox so that one can use Deezer Hifi with my Squeezeboxes, too.

Hey guys, sorry for bringing you bad news. I marked this topic as not implemented as our developers will not work on it at the moment. We'll still pass all feedback on to the right team, but it's very unlikely they will be working on it any time soon...

I tried Deezer and liked it a lot, but are not switching from Tidal until you offer flac on squeezebox and Roon support!

Please add Deezer Hifi support for Logitech Media Server (LMS) / Squeezebox. Without it the HIFI plan doesn’t make mush sense for me and I’ll most likely discontinue it.
