Hi there, I've read a lot about transferring or re-downloading my deezer library to a new device, but still not happy.

Would you please add a simple feature such as Downloaded Library List backup, where would be backed up my list of titles - Podcasts, Albums, Playlists (with song titles inside), Songs.. to my account. If some space needed, use my cloud (logged in my phone) for storing this backup file, but it should be very tiny file containg text data only.

Then on a new device I want to click “Restore my backup” and the Deezer will show my saved backups with the save date and possibly names of my backups, really nice to have to recognize my backups easily.

I open the backup and see the full list of my albums/playlists/songs/.. like in the old device. Then just click "Download all” and I will have my Downloaded Library in my new device with just "on click” as we say. ;)

Please!!!

Thank you!

PS: Don't offer me the solution with "Like” marked songs. “Favourites” is not the same as my downloaded (offline) library.

Hey @Marsko it sounds interesting to be able to access your downloads on any other device when you log in to your account. But definitely will need some space in the cloud or similar.
Let’s see what other users think and if they vote for the idea so we can present it to our developers.
Thanks

Hello Jaime, thanks for the response :D

Definitely some storage space is needed, but it's just about some tiny text file containing identifiers of each song/item/playlist/podcast from previously downloaded or favourized items list in the device.

Even better to have possibility of more backups (text files) with the date, so the user can choose which backup wants to get restored. Deezer app would open the file in the app interface and the user can choose which items wants to have downloaded in a new phone. Those simple backup file can be stored to the phone, Google account or iCloud.. Each smartphone has an account with some basic free cloud space, where this bakcup file can be stored for later restore.

  • agree with you @Marsko ,
would be important to have a backup/restore solution, or a export/import vision
    with for example 2 levels:
    - the user environment (in text model, with all the user configuration, and the device(s)
    - the libraries (music/albums/artist/...) in binarry model
