Deezer Favourite Tracks Limit of 2000 too small - please increase it!

I had like 998 songs:(

If you're using a mobile app then you can only see 1000 (but the good news is a) they are still being added to your favourites you just can't see them b)Deezer have anounced that you'll soon be able to see 2000 songs on your mobile app).

Try logging in via a computer if possible to check 🙂

Every time I add new songs to my favorites, they aren't showing up or staying on my list. Why is this?

the limit is 2000 at present though hopefully Deezer will increase this in the future.

I have been using Deezer for a very long time now and love it. I’ve been thinking. I have more than 1000 favourite tracks however the playlist max is 1000 tracks. New music is coming out all the time and to favourite new tracks I have to delete older tracks that I still love. Would you ever consider removing this 1000 track cap for playlists and favourites. I think it would be a productive idea for Deezer to try out

the limit is actually 2000 tracks that can be added to your favourites - at the moment you can only see 1000 via your mobile device but this is about to change to the full 2000 very soon.

In the meantime you can have 1000 songs per playlist and up to a 1000 playlists.. not bad 🙂

One more problem in using a second "favorites" would be that you either have to add every song in that new playlist which is annoying; or if move the old favorites to the new folder and lose their chronological data (when you sort the songs added to the new playlist by the date added you see them arranged just alphabetically not chronologically)

So what is the state of this?
Did it got fixed and what's the favourite song limit?

it's still 2000 I believe though Deezer have mentioned they are looking to increase this - fingers crossed they do! 🙂

It doesn't matter. I'm moving to Spotify. Deezer lacks tons of songs and a few people know about it, it seems, also the app layout is not versatile at all.

(fyi spotify has a limit of 10,000 tracks completely of songs including songs in your albums that can be added to your library/music. Also you can only store 3333 song offline with Spotify, hope this info is useful for you).

I have added albums to my favorites and it seems to me that when I reach 2000 albums under my favorites that it doesn't want to add anymore. I have added new albums but everytime I leave the site and return it is back to 2000 exactly.

Is there a reason that it doesn't want to keep the latest albums that I add under the favorites? I have subscribed to a Deezer plan in the hopes that it would solve this problem but the problem still persists.

Any advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @corne, you reached the limit 🙂 But our devs are working on it and soon we will increase this limit. 😉

But you can save 10k tracks to one playlist and have as many playlists as you want. 😉

true... on Deezer you can have a 1000 songs per playlist and up to a 1000 playlists... I think most people will be happy with that! I feel it's just the favourites that causes most people problems 🙂

I want to know what's wrong with my app because this worked before...So, when I press the heart button to add a song to the collection of "my favourite songs", later I wait and wait, and it never shows up in there. I try it over and over again but it doesn't work. So I just listen to the same old songs and can't do nothing but ask you to help me please!!!

So usually when you hear a song and tap the heart it favorites it and sends it to the "favorite tracks" playlist under the "my music" tab. As of lately, whenever favoriting a song, nothing is being saved to the playlist. For the last 2 weeks I have not been able to listen to nor play any of the music saved. Please either help me figure this out or fix it. I've paid for deezer for almost 5 years now and have never had this problem.

Maybe you have reached the favorite number limit ? ( 1000 can be seen on mobile, 2000 on computer).
