Deezer Favourite Tracks Limit of 2000 too small - please increase it!

Sorry for the late reply. This is certainly being discussed but I know from our Product Managers that it won't be expanded in the near future. Other features are now taking priority. In any case, I've passed the feedback on to them because we need to be aware of what our competitors are doing ;)

Yes, there are a lot of things to do: set a song for alarm or ring tone, hifi family plan, more hifi devices ( especially hifi devices such as Astell kern, fiio, shanling, etc).....But this topic is, in my opinion, the top priority once dark mode has been implemented. The reason is that everyday we listen to new songs or we re-discover old songs from our childhood (or before..).
So, please, focus on this topic 🙂

I agree with ALL here, and there os no excuse for taking so long on fixing this issue. I'm here thinking of change music stream service even Tidal seems better.

Yes, this is the point where the experience with Deezer is stopping for many ones who meet the limit.

Hi, This was my reason for cancelling my subscription and moving to spotify. and I hate spotify. this upsets me. i love so much music! you can't limit people! Please fix this technical difficulty so I can come back! - I found myself listening to the same music ovcer and over too, and I drive a lot for work so. any FLOW type lists became very monotonous - I also hate the radio and I had to revert to turning deezer off and entering the white noise of the free to air radio frequencies!!!!

I've read today that Spotify have made changes to how your store music in "Your Library". They now allow 10k items, 1 album counts as 1 item, and 1 favourite track counts as 1 item - so a lot bigger than before (which was all the albums tracks counted towards the 10k limit).

I hope Deezer are still working on this?

Looks like I'm heading back to Spotify finally then. I half like and half hate Deezer, it's a nice little app, but it's so frustrating waiting years with really basic core issues not being resolved (this, gapless playback, flow not being fit for purpose) which every music streaming service should have as standard.

Couple that with the fact that you constantly seem to be adding pointless "nice to have" features and changing the UI daily (but never improving it, often making it worse), and there's not reason for me to stay.

Your product managers have no sense of priority and are causing Deezer to stay lagging behind in the streaming market. You'll never be real competition to other services until you get the basics right, and it sounds like you're not even going to try to do that.

Haha, looks like I spoke too soon, I signed up to Spotify premium to find while they increased the limit they trashed the library system in their update. Got a refund straight away.

Time to see what other streaming services are like I think...

So, I spend a month manually transferring my favorites to Deezer, just to find out that my 3300+ favorite tracks from the other provider cannot be accommodated here.

Sadly, I'll take my business elsewhere.

So much waster time, so much potential, such a steep disappointment.

Sorry that was the case @robintel. The songs would have to be added to playlists, and perhaps that can be difficult for you. I'm happy to pass the feedback on. Hopefully we can reach the limit you need in the future, so that you can remain with us.
