Deezer Favourite Tracks Limit of 2000 too small - please increase it!

When I try to add any track to my favorite tracks (I press heart symbol) nothing happens - the song is not added to my favorite list. That never happens when I use PC app. But songs that I add via PC app never appear in my favorite list on my phone. How I can fix this?

How long do we need to wait for this to be increased?

a 2k limit is a reason to unsubscribe, especially since it is not mentioned anywhere until you reach the limit.

I'm extremely displeased with this - I have over 120000 tracks on my PC which I actively listen to, I cant stand re-listening to the same tracks every 1-2 days. I used the favourite feature so that Deezer can suggest music similar to what I like, with a 2k limit, I'll never find new music, highly disappointing.

If not increased soon, I will be going back to Spotify, which, under a free account, has no limit to songs that you can like.

if I'm honest I don't think Deezer are going to increase it to anywhere your needs (and fyi Spotify have a 10k limit on tracks added to "My Music" including Album tracks).

I think you'd be better off with Google Play or Apple which allow you to upload your own tracks (as many as you like I believe) and have really high amount of tracks in your library.

Can anyone confirm that you will definitely be increasing the number of total albums you can have saved in the android app? And if so do you know roughly when?

Currently I'm a little over the limit and I'm so close to leaving Deezer because of it. I love the app and service, but a limit like this means the app is basically unusable for plenty of music lovers. Many of my favourtie albums are nowhere to be seen, and what's the point of a music app if you can't listen to your favourite albums?

This sort of thing is the reason I had to leave Spotify (hitting their 10,000 track limit) and came to Deezer in the first place. 1000 albums is really not that many in the grand scheme of things, you're alienating a large portion of music fans (me included) keeping this in place.

How hard can it honestly be for an app to be able to display a list of over 1000 items? Sometimes with the speed you're able to deal with issues I imagine you only have one poor lonely dev who's tasked with doing everything. As a service with this many users, you need more tech resource to be able to keep up with the needs of your customers.

You should really have something to warn people before they sign up, letting them know of the limits so they can make an informed decision before they subscribe, as such a low maximum number of albums would (quite rightly) put a lot of people off parting with their money. At this point not advertising the fact is tantamount to dishonest sales tactics as most people will assume Deezer can handle something as simple as this.

Please remove the 2000 songs limit on playlists.. it's annoying
I do not really have time to catch with new releases and it would so much better to add everything to a single playlist and then listen to it on shuffle mode...
I am thinking on going back to Spotify because of this....

please be aware the 2000 limit is only for favourites tracks, albums and playlists you add to your music don't count towards this (also be aware that spotify have a 10k limit but albums DO COUNT).

Deezer are aware of the limit and I'm hoping it will be raised in the near future, in the mean time please vote for my idea here to have it increased: - https://en.deezercommunity.com/ideas/873

When I liked a music the heart doesn’t appear activated, however it shows me the message that was added to the playlist

Hi @evel79, we have a limite of more or less1000 in phones and 2000 in computers. This number may vary, depends of the device. We are about to increase this limite some time very soon and hopefully it will show the tight number in both devices 🙂
