Clear queue

I appreciate the developers having their own priorities, but I hope Not for Now =/= Not Ever. For anyone looking for a workaround in the meantime, Wilco has a track called 23 Seconds of Silence which I found from someone kind enough to already create a public Clear Queue playlist.

Use case & why I upvoted: I get that some people like being able to keep a queue going from device to device & day to day. I personally prefer to start each new listening session “fresh” with a new queue; if an analog example helps illustrate, when I put on a record & don’t want to listen to it any more, I take it off the turntable & it’s done. It doesn’t stay glued to the turntable & keep playing until I find another record to replace it. Under the current Deezer system, I shy away from trying some new playlists & mixes knowing I have to “commit” to intentionally finding something else to stop listening.

A clear queue button placed next to the “Add to Playlist” button on the queue (or even the loop/shuffle buttons in the main player) seems like a common sense way to accommodate different kinds of user preferences. Thanks Rudi for listening & Deezer developers for your consideration.

Is Rudi a real person or a bot. 3 years of pathetic answers to this simple request?  What is wrong at Deezer?  The sonos app has excellent lost control so when I am at home I only access Deezer through Sonos. But in the mobile app the interface is very poor. 

In general I would like to have control over FLOW playlist now it is classified by categories or mood

Selct 1 track , or multiple tracks so I can copy delete add to ...etc

I think we are a lot to desire this option ..

This forum is useless. They never take any notice or actually change anything. It's just platitudes and empty promises that some development will happen 'sometime. Seems to me they are happy to take your money, but don't actually give a toss so long as they can get away with it.

100%. Deezer’s wack support drove me back to Spotify.

5 months since I’ve commented here and no clear queue button/feature yet, Deezer should hear from their customers in order to provide a great experience which isn’t happening, but unfortunately they’re too closed for adding this simple and useful feature that should be here for more than 4 years.

Come on Deezer, just listen to us and add this!

Coming from Tidal, I was astonished that I couldn't simply queue just a few tracks without loading an entire album/artist's worth of songs or creating a playlist if the tracks are coming from multiple pages.

I just want to build a queue on my own, and I noticed that multiples comments are trying to accomplish the same thing by clearing the existing queue. For me, I'd like to just start a new queue with a single song in it, similar to track mixes, but still be able to queue songs to it myself. With that, I wouldn't need clear queue feature as much.
