I know I can remove tracks from the queue one by one. but i would like to remove all tracks in one click.

sometimes, you mistakenly add a long playlist to the queue and you just want to remove it.
Hi there, very sorry for the super late reply. I am going through all ideas now these days to keep up.

Great idea you have, it is noted 😉 Get other users to vote for it so it has a better chance of being implemented 😉
How can this even be an idea....it should already be implemented?

Tell you what, Deezer, how about this for an idea? I'll pay you £9.99 per month to introduce this feature, or I will continue to pay Napster for the privilege.
I have done the following work around. I created a Playlist named "Clear Queue" and added a single track to it (I picked a track titled "CLEAR", go figure). When I want to clear the entire queue I select this playlist and start playing the track. This sets the queue to 1 track. Now your ready to add more.
Yes, please add a way to clear, or better yet stopping adding a default playlist. I hadn't realized that was the case, clicked play, and then suddenly I'm listening to a song about how much the artist loves to fuck his girlfriend in the ass. Luckily no kids were in the room at the time.

A default playlist is not only super annoying, but in an instance like this it's downright unacceptable. You need to fix this, and at the very least make sure you aren't forcing people to listen sexually explicit music if they do not want to.

THANKS FOR A GREAT IDEA. I USED IT WITH A SONG CALLED "FAVORITE" .I WANT THAT TITLE WHEN I PLAY MY FAVOURITES.

I GET THE FEELING DEEZER DOES NOT WANT TO REMOVE THAT

ANNOYING THING..I REALY DONT UNDERSTANT WHAT'S THE POINT !

Thanks so much. I now have a playlist consisting of one of my favorite tracks for this purpose.

Too bad, though, that Deezer is not responding to the suggestion for a "clear playlist" feature. Otherwise, I am quite pleased with Deezer.
I see Deezer still insists on forcing music into a paying user's queue. That's me gone, after probably 3 or so years of diligent payments.

Out of curiosity, why do you guys put up with this?
Hi there, if you play Flow the queue will be automatically emptied. Also, you can untick the automatic recommendation box at the end of the queue.

But we have passed on to our devs the suggestion of reseting the flow 🙂
Sir, I understand that you are just a messenger here, but a paid service suggesting users work around its own advertising is kind of adding insults to injury. My queue comes preloaded with Maroon 5 and after I press the button to delete it, it comes right back in, as if designed to annoy. I mean, c'mon.
Credit where it's due, Deezer's system is still better than Spotify's (or at least, Spotify's when I last tried it) in that it's easy to hit play on an album and GENUINELY clear out what was in the queue before. And have the music actually stop when you get to the end of a list.

But I don't always want to play an album, or Flow. I listen to a lot of classical and, because classical albums often contain a number of separate works, I frequently only want to listen to a group of tracks. There really ought to be an option to clear the whole queue so that I can then pick exactly the tracks I want to listen to, not indulge in workarounds, or deleting all the other tracks I don't want, or creating a playlist for something I don't plan on listening to repeatedly.

It's a mystery why this isn't seen as basic functionality by every service. Maybe everyone who works on streaming services just has an absolutely constant background of music on and relies on a computer to pick what that music is, or grew up with DJs blending songs together all night long, and cannot understand why anyone would ever want an empty queue.

But out here in the rest of the world many of us really like having discrete, self-contained listening experiences with a start and an end that we choose. When it's actually composed, music is designed in units, not as an endless Flow. Please do more to cater for your users who still treat music this way.
i just switched from spotify to deezer because spotify is the absolute worst. However, their queue system beats deezer's hands down. Please fix this guys...
Yes, PLEASE allow simply having an empty queue so I can make ad hoc playlists on the fly. Came here from Napster and am not "getting used" to this difference. It's a missing feature.

We need this now already...as Nike says...

Just Do It
The queue system really drives me crazy... Finding myself clearing the queue track by track all the time.

So I'm also voting for this feature.

What I also don't get: (and I think this is the primary reason why I need to clear my queue that often)

When I'd like to play a single track from an artist's "Most played tracks" list, I have to click the "..." menu and then "Listen next" or "Add to queue". If I just click "Play" Deezer automatically adds all tracks to my playlist. Is this really what the majority people want? I never want to play all of the most popular tracks of an artist. Either specific tracks or an album... I use the "Most played tracks" list primarily to locate a single song quickly (or search it, if I can't remember its name).
That makes sense @schwarzzz I'll pass the feedback on hopefully we can consider this feature to be implemented soon 😉
Come on, it's just a "Clear queue" feature. It's a basic feature any player used to have, what are the features that are being "considered to be implemented" instead of it?
Hi there @Renato Caio

At the moment we're working on new and existing big features. But this is a cool idea, we'll be looking at the more popular ones for development soon 😉

I totally agree. What on earth is so difficult to just add a clear queue button. Are your developers young trainees?
Absolutely! And it shouldn't be a problem to implement 🙂

2 years later, lots of updates and we still don’t have this feature.

What’s the big reason?

Thanks for reaching us out about this @RPBR - it's just a matter of prioritisation. Later on this year we'll be looking at different improvements to our UX and this idea will certainly be in that discussion :v_tone2:

Google is dropping GMP, and I was looking for a new music provider. This queue issue takes Deezer out of consideration.

It's hard to read that @olc but it's important for us to know this is a deal-breaker for some users. Bear in mind that you can just play your Flow, and that will clear the queue :v_tone2:

some new since this declaration?
